So I'm sitting there listening to an ad waiting for a YouTube video to begin, and the ad is telling me that a new special coffee is the answer to all weight loss problems, as well as the solution for diabetes and high cholesterol. Essentially, if you merely switch your morning coffee routine, you will lose 47 lbs in two weeks, regardless of what you eat or how little you exercise. Note: while they hammer away at "coffee" imagery, the product is actually a whiteish powder that you are supposed to put into your coffee, or tea, or your Top Ramen or whatever hot liquid you consume in the morning to "jolt" your metabolism throughout the day.

Pretty amazing ... and novel. I don't recalll there ever being a miracle weight loss supplement marketed to the public. We live in glorious times.

The product is JAVA BURN

What piqued my interest was the claim that "scientists have confirmed" that the secret to weight loss has nothing to do with one's metabolism, but rather with your body's ability to burn fat which is a function of one's metabolism. How did I never realize this?

Anyway, what will truly amaze you is the media blitz program for this product, taking Safemoon's total media program to the next level. It appears that all of the "honest" user reviews give the exact same party line from the official website, practically word for word, as though they are reading from a script. What I notice is that either the reviewers don't speak English as a first language, making it totally obvious that they are simply reading from a script, or they realize that their English proficiency is totally insufficient so they just have speech software speak their review for them (immediately recognizable, it sounds like a damn robot).

The videos purport to be a "warning" ... but that is only to get people to actually watch the video and to appear as a neutral and unbiased review. However the warnings are 1) warning of FUD from actual users who tried the product and 2) warning that if you try the product and don't get the results you want that it's totally your fault for having obtained a counterfeit product. All the videos insist up front that you must watch the video in its entirety so that you don't miss the urgent "warning" at the end of the video.

I have linked a few below. I highly recommend listening to the first few seconds of each one. You will definitely get a kick out of them.

So I'm waiting for another YouTube ad to finish so I can watch the video I want to see, and I recognize the narrator's voice as the guy from the Java Burn ad. In this video he's telling me about some dental rinse that miraculously regrows teeth and gums overnight and that I'll never have to step foot in a dentist's office again because it has nothing to do with oral hygiene.

The product is Dentitox Pro

I haven't seen the full video yet, nor have I listened to any user reviews, but I have this strange feeling ...

YouTube doesn't give the option to skip ads anymore? What's amazing, is that after centuries of medicine shows, elixirs, and snake oil, quackery, people still buy these types of products. Also amazing the so few have faith in medical doctors. I have faith in my God-given healing powers, but do need a little help on occasion. My ruptured appendix was the only major medical. Mostly, medicine from both markets haven't changed a whole lot, both sell the rubes a lot of worthless products. The covid vaccines are the most recent example. No chance in hell to end the pandemic in America, is everyone gets vaccinated. Those that had a prior infection, aren't immune, they must get vaccinated... It's the same immune response, same protection. Vaccines don't work every time, for everyone. They are better than nothing at all, but you can never fully depend on them. What works, is diagnosing a specific contagion early, and isolating the infected, and possible exposed. Cold, Flu, Covid? The only diagnostic tool, is shoving a long Q-Tip, deep up in the nose, dig out some snot, send it off to a lab.

For some, your video must wait for the full commercial to end, e.g. Google Fi, which can last about ten to fifteen seconds. For most, you're stuck waiting five seconds, which isn't a lot of time, but it is enough to glean the amazing promises of the next miracle product.

HarveyH55 wrote: What's amazing, is that after centuries of medicine shows, elixirs, and snake oil, quackery, people still buy these types of products.

I believe Safemoon was motivated by the eternal success of the Nigerian banker scam.

HarveyH55 wrote: Also amazing the so few have faith in medical doctors.

It's not so amazing. There is an inherent financial conflict of interest that leaves a sour taste in the mouths of many. Doctors are not there to cure you. They are there to address your symptoms. They make no money on future visits they eliminate by actually curing you. If addressing your symptoms results in you being cured then that is an added bonus but you should consider yourself lucky.

If an obese person with hypoglycemia goes to the doc, the doc "recommends" weight loss (so much easier said than done) and proceeds to proscribe costly medications that merely treat the symptoms and keep the patient returning for unlimited visits. The cure would be weight loss, but that is not within the financial interests of all involved in the medical community. Only when it gets to the point that the medication is no longer capable of addressing the symptoms do they proscribe bariatric surgery which garners far more cash for everyone than mandating a strict regimen of diet and exercise.

HarveyH55 wrote: I have faith in my God-given healing powers,

HarveyH55 wrote: ... but do need a little help on occasion.

You make a solid point.

HarveyH55 wrote: Mostly, medicine from both markets haven't changed a whole lot, both sell the rubes a lot of worthless products.

The rubes often fall behind the power curve.

HarveyH55 wrote: The covid vaccines are the most recent example.

I remain convinced mine was a placebo. However, I was issued mine gratis, which is what I believe it is worth.

Your point concerning the pandemic never ending is spot on, especially considering that there never was any pandemic in the first place.

Your point about willful ignorance in the medical community regarding natural immunity is likewise spot-on because once you fight off a virus, yes, you are immune, i.e. no vaccine is required thereafter.

Great points.

Doctors don't have the power to heal, or cure. All they have the capacity to do is assist. It's really up to the patient's body to do the actual work of healing. Sure, doctors can smear on a little ointment, to clear up a rash, or fungal infection. Both would usually clear up on their own, eventually... Not to mention avoided altogether with good hygiene, and minimal use of 'unclean' women, without suitable protection.

Surgeons can remove a tumor.

Oncologists can send lymphoma into remission.

Orthopedic surgeons can replace hips.

The list goes on.

My point is that doctors will first expend effort addressing symptoms and not jump right to working with the patient on just curing the problem.

You struck a nerve!

My wife got rope-a-doped by the "scientific studies" showing how Essential Oils is a cure all for whatever ails you. I HATE this stuff! Not only is it a scam, but that oil mist coming out of the diffuser, that shit just stinks. She just says "you never know, it might be working and you just don't know it. It can't hurt to try".

I was a smoker since I was 16 yrs old. Few years ago I quit with the aid of a vape. I have long since eliminated the nicotine from my juice, but after so many years of cigarette addiction, I still do enjoy my vape.

Where am I going with this? Yup. That's right. Essential Oils are poison if ingested, but we can vaporize and breath that in the house.

My vape juice is USDA food grade. My flavor of choice is called Brewed Awakenings. It's a nice coffee flavor. Coffee and a smoke always did go well together. I'm STEAMING FOOD, but according to her I'm liable to tip over dead at any second when I'm using it, but Essential Oils are A OK.

In a very naggy voice...''studies have shown that vaping is just as bad as actual smoking".

She's been scammed on BOTH sides of this! HELP!!!

I hate to break it to you but essential oils do cure everything while softening your hands, without increasing our carbon footprint or accelerating Climate Change.

One thing I learned from THIS COURSE is that essential oils are extremely potent. They are 50-70 times more potent than herbs! It takes 28 cups of peppermint tea to equal one drop of peppermint essential oil. So either peppermint tea has no potency whatsoever or essential oils are da'bomb!

I'm guessing that your wife's essential oil vapor is why you are even alive today. You should find a way to pump the essential oils through a CPAP so you can wake up refreshed and detoxified in the morning. You haven't lived until you awaken with lungs refreshingly full of tree bark extract.

... or maybe, just maybe, you're right. Perhaps your wife should watch THIS VIDEO and be reminded that placebo effect is more powerful than any essential oil.

I have it on good authority that these are the top ten essential oil mistakes:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vuLggcLDLg&t=41s

Error 1. Thinking that you need to know everything about essential oils before you use them. Just make frankinsense, lavender, lemon, peppermint and tea tree your "go to" essential oils and focus on those.

Error 2. Giving the wrong essential oil advice. Essential oils are medicines and need to be forthwith advised responsibly and treated with respectful reverence to proper dosage. Some essential oils like wormwood and eucalyptus should never be taken internally. Ignore point #1 above and make sure you know everything about essential oils before you wander willy-nilly into this complex and delicate field, potentially acting in an irresponsible manner that negatively impacts someone's health.

Error 3. Disregarding quality. Most essential oil companies out there are using synthetics. Many use plants sprayed with pesticides. It's possible that your essential oils contain hydrocarbons which would be a big sign that you have fake essential oils. This is not say that they contain fossil fuels, just hydrocarbons. Just make sure that your essential oils are organic and do not contain any additives or preservatives. The absolutely critical check you must make is to ensure they used proper farming techniques and used indigenous sourcing.

Error 4. Using photosensitive oils in the sun. You have to be a real bonehead to make this mistake. Sure, you can apply orange, lemon, lime, bergamot, grapefruit and lemongrass to the skin but obviously you should never then walk outdoors into direct sunlight. There are some really stupid people out there doing exactly this.

Error 5. Using all the oils the same way. If you do this, you might have had a frontal lobotomy. You'd think it would be obvious to any idiot that wintergreen is simply not to be used as though it were an organic Tumeric CO2, but alas, you have morons out there doing precisely that. Also, you have morons applying topical oils without properly diluting them first. What idiots.

Error 6. Using essential oils too long. This is not common. Only the most brainless make this mistake. If you are using a diffuser, for a medium-sized room you do not want to diffuse for more than eight hours. You can have too much of a good thing. Direct deep-breathing inhalation should be no more than five minutes. Again, this should be obvious.

Error 7. Assuming that if they are safe for humans that they are safe for pets. If you are using birch, clove, oregano, tea tree, thyme and wintergreen around pets then you might as well just roast your pets over open flame because that would be quicker. It goes without saying that if you have dogs then you should be focusing on lavender, frankincense and helichrysum.

Error 8. Using essential oils on children and infants in the same manner as used by adults. Oregano, for example, is clearly not suitable for small children and eucalyptus needs to be more diluted when being applied to infants.

Error 9. Using "No-No" oils during pregnancy. You'd think that in this day and age that every woman knows to avoid myrrh, clary sage and fennel during pregnancy and instead use ylang-ylang for those nine months. Well, guess again. This is an ongoing problem and should not be taken lightly.

Error 10. Not being certified. GasGuzzler, this is where your wife screwed the pooch as it were. She avoided Error #1 above. She should not have done that. She started using essential oils without proper essential oil training, hands-on labs, guided and independent research and passing strict certification exams. Yes, she was reckless and you can tell her I said so. In fact, she might be in trouble for the administration of controlled essential oils without a license. She needs to watch the video I posted above and think really hard about what she is doing.

Let me know if you have any questions and don't be afraid to come to me with the hard stuff.

I really don't have anything valuable to add here. You have covered every angle from overuse, to misuse, to killing off the family dog. You have really inspired me and with what I am now pursuing it would allow for frog and fish oils to be inhaled through a CPAP all night long(legally). The benefits will no doubt be clearly obvious.

I will only take issue with the accusation of felony offence error 10. My sister, her sister in law, is a certified essential oils distributor/dealer. My siss knows her shit about the snake oil and does not withhold any vital intelligence. She knows the oily science and shares any new science with my wife immediately. My wife is well coached and under the microscopic supervision of a licensed snake charmer. Calling her reckless was reckless in and of itself. You should redact that charge.

Aside from you stepping out a bit on error 10, I have to hand it to you. You have really displayed a vast amount of brilliance on the subject. I can only hypothesize that 1 of 2 options is going on here....

1) You really dug in and did your homework with utmost diligence and essential discipline.

or

2) You are already fighting the same battles in your own living room.

Either way it doesn't really matter. You just know your shit when it comes to big oil. Go Brandon!!
