Now that the OWDC no longer recognizes the Constitution of the United States nor any State constitution, how long will the dollar last, which is printed by the OWDC?

If a State secedes, for example, why should it accept OWDC dollars? For that matter, why should ANY State accept OWDC dollars?

Discuss.

What if all States secede ... and then form a new Constitution and a new Federal government? All the debt of, and faith in, the US vanishes.

No state can secede, as no state can fund it's own military. If California for example left they would have to turn over all military equipment. Since this would leave the USA vulnerable the USA would bomb the access points to major bridges in California killing no one but crippling traffic. The USA could also close California borders and shut down shipping to major ports making California penniless.

So it's not going to happen

I can only assume that it stands for Oligarchy of Washington DC? Correct me if I am wrong...

Anyhow, I have definitely lost faith in OWDC dollars and I doubt that they will remain a popular currency beyond this decade, but I am no prophet.

I would think that any seceding States (would they join up with other seceding States or would they remain independent of each other?) would form their own currency (as the Confederacy did) or they could also make use of some other already existing form of currency. I highly doubt that they would stick with using the very same OWDC dollar that they seceded away from...

In more ways than one (whether a tax crash, debt crash, civil war, secession, or what have ya) I think that the OWDC dollar will not survive much longer...

False. Every State can have its own military.

Swan wrote: If California for example left they would have to turn over all military equipment.

If California, for example, were to secede then California would no longer be recognizing the Federal government ... which means they would not see any need to "turn over" anything to something they don't recognize.

You speak of strategic plans that STRATCOM has to bomb domestic targets.

STRATCOM has no strategic plans for any domestic targets.

Who is doing your thinking for you?

Swan wrote: The USA could also close California borders and shut down shipping to major ports making California penniless.

The Federal government could theoretically close Oregon's, Nevada's and Arizona's borders with California but if California secedes then the Federal government won't be able to close California's borders now will it?

Let's see what happens with Texas. Probably nothing, but let's see.

No state can secede,

Yes, it can. Texas has done so in the past, and Texas is currently looking into doing so again. It will take some time, of course, since the current House resolution is just seeking the opinion of the State's residents on the topic, but the topic of secession from the OWDC IS ALREADY moving forward in Texas as we speak.

Also remember that numerous Southern States seceded just prior to the War of Secession between the Confederacy and the USA.

In short, it has already happened in the past, and it can just as easily happen again.

Why not?

I already consider the SOTC to be a country of their own, as they've disregarded the US Constitution and their own State Constitution for many years now. Maybe they'll now join in with the newly formed OWDC??

The OWDC is not going to go to war with the SOTC... Those countries are allies and have similar interests. I think that the SOTC will join the OWDC, although there are many citizens within the SOTC who are very unhappy with their own oligarchy (and the newly formed OWDC).

Swan wrote:

Wanna bet? I think that by the end of this year (or maybe the next), Texas will secede from the newly formed OWDC. I have a feeling that numerous other States will do likewise (although maybe not as fast as Texas will)...

No state can secede, as no state can fund it's own military.

Any State can secede and any State can fund it's own military. Military is paid for through taxes. With no federal taxes paying for a federal military, paying for a State military is easy.

The SOTC has already left. They left a long time ago. If anything, it's part of the OWDC now.
Swan wrote:

Why?
Swan wrote:

There is no USA. There is only the SOA (States of America), the SODC (Socialist Oligarchy of the District of Columbia), the SOTC (Socialist Oligarchy of the Territory of California), and the SOTNY (Socialist Oligarchy of the Territory of New York).
Swan wrote:

Why would the SODC bomb the SOTC?? They are allies.
Swan wrote:

The SOTC is already doing that on its own. By banning internal and external combustion engines, they are banning trucks, trains, tractors, ships, aircraft, and most cars). Yes. They are going penniless. People are leaving the SOTC in droves while they still can.
Swan wrote:

Already happening.

Texas is already making serious discussions of seceding. It will be put to a vote of the people soon. Quite a few other States also are considering this. They do not want to be part of the SODC. They would rather stay as republics.

I first called it the SOA, but that confused it with the States of America (no longer united). I was using SOWDC for awhile, but that is an insult to George Washington, who dedicated his life to fighting scourges like this.

Now I am calling it the SODC, the Socialist Oligarchy of the District of Columbia.

When Texas secedes, it will be seceding from the SODC.

Bereft of it's tax base, the SODC is probably going to retaliate, violently.
Once again, a War of Secession.

During the last War of Secession, gold was used as currency. It still traded back and forth across the frontier. The war didn't effect it much.

Today, the SODC is based on fiat currency, authorized and printed by the SODC itself. Secession will naturally mean treating that as a foreign currency, and one now bereft of its tax base.

In this situation, hyperinflation of the SODC dollar is practically guaranteed.

Got it. Through some trial and error, I will agree that these new names are more fitting than their prior iterations.

So, it sounds as if (and correct me if I am wrong) we are now operating under the following terminology:

SOA: States of America. This term refers to, collectively, the remaining 48 States of what was once known as the USA, as California and New York are no longer States. These remaining 48 States, as you said, are no longer united.

SODC: Socialist Oligarchy of the District of Columbia. This term is self explanatory. The SODC is headquartered in DC, but the SODC intends to tyrannically rule over what was formerly known as the USA.

Now, the remaining States will have an important choice to make... Will they willingly submit to SODC tyranny? Will they secede from the SODC? Will such a choice (either way) result in civil war within each State? We'll see what happens...

In Wisconsin, I just know that things could get quite dicey, as Madison and Milwaukee (and the other smaller college cities) will likely wish for the State to submit to the SODC, but most all of the remaining smaller cities and rural counties will likely wish for the State to remain as a republic and not be subject to SODC tyranny. There is also a STRONG sentiment among the free-minded populace here to dethrone King Evers (who is up for "election" in 2022)...

SOTC: Socialist Oligarchy of the Territory of California. This term is self explanatory. They split away from the former USA long ago. They seem to be allies with the SODC, and will likely join with them, even though a sizable portion of the population there is not happy with that. Hopefully those people can flee from the SOTC while they are still able to... Otherwise, they'd have to resort to civil war in an attempt to retake the SOTC for themselves.

SOTNY: Socialist Oligarchy of the Territory of New York. This term is self explanatory. They split away from the former USA more recently than the SOTC did. They seem to also be allies with the SODC, and will likely join with them, even though plenty of people in the SOTNY are not happy with that. The situation there is a bit different from the SOTC's situation though because of the locations of the large cities within the SOTNY... I wouldn't be surprised if the more conservative-minded large upper chunk of the SOTNY decided to secede from the remaining portion of it. Maybe they and the Northern portion of Pennsylvania could team up??

The acronyms are correct at this point. It might be pointed out that people are fleeing the SOTNY as well. They should get out while they can.

Many of these refugees are moving south.

Indeed.

Another thing I have noticed is that the SODC now wants to erect permanent fencing around their headquarters even though their types spent the last 4+ years decrying the border wall and claiming that walls don't work and etc... Very Satanic people...
