This is a sun dog, which is unlike the rare double sun.

Two layers of glass wrapped around Earth can cause a double sun image at a certain indirect angle on a dim smoky day.

The Sun behind the glass is a reflection on both glass layers. If it's dim enough, and you look at an indirect angle, you can see both reflections.

The answer to your question can be found in Genesis chapter 1 verse 1 (preferably the KJV):

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."

Now just to summarize the first 3 days for you, as I read it.

Heaven (glass enclosure) was created in the 2nd day.

Earth (dry land and seas) was created in the 3rd day.

But before Heaven, then Earth, was the 1st day, when light was created, when the earth was void without form, and the Spirit of God moved upon the waters.
