When I came hone the other day, I discovered that my son had found a bunch of dry ice and was making "fog" and generally having a bunch of fun in my garage.

I pulled up a chair. I was waiting for the average garage temperature to increase. I waited for "feedback loops" to create a spectacular show of radiative forcings. I waited for the very garage climate to change.

None of that happened. No Garage Warming happened. There was no Garage Climate Change.

This Global Warming dogma is a bunch of crap.

Printing dollars to pay debt doesn't increase the number of dollars. - keepit

Ah the "Valid Data" myth of ITN/IBD. - tmiddles

Ceist - I couldn't agree with you more. But when money and religion are involved, and there are people who value them above all else, then the lies begin. - trafn

You are completely misunderstanding their use of the word "accumulation"! - Climate Scientist.

The Stefan-Boltzman equation doesn't come up with the correct temperature if greenhouse gases are not considered - Hank

:*sigh* Not the "raw data" crap. - Leafsdude

IB STILL hasn't explained what Planck's Law means. Just more hand waving that it applies to everything and more asserting that the greenhouse effect 'violates' it.- Ceist

Verified. Many Halloween parties and haunted houses used dry ice to produce their fog effects instead of the lousy and cheap water vapor machines.

Anticipating the warmer temperatures the following month, I found temperatures dramatically decreased instead. No forcing towards warmer temperatures of any kind seemed to have resulted. Instead, I found the climate to be dramatically cooling after the release.

Conclusion: Release of carbon dioxide shows evidence of causing Global Cooling.

Still nothing, by the way. I have been monitoring my garage throughout the duration of the elevated carbon emissions (which, for my garage, were "unprecedented rates") and for many hours thereafter.

Nothing. I was expecting parlor trick results...you know...temperatures shooting up, extreme weather, a drought or a flood, "scientific proof" of Global Warming...all that. I had visions of making a Global Warming video for kids and loading it on YouTube, then getting on Mythbusters, a book deal, lecture circuit, invitation to speak at the next "climate" summit...the whole nine yards.

Imagine my disappointment! Nothing! Did I somehow misinterpret "The Science"? Isn't CO2 "greenhouse gas"? I've been all over every square centimeter of my garage and it is a bona fide microclimate so the problem isn't there.

I just don't get it.

Must be variations in the sun (ie lightbulb) emissions compensating for the temperature rise you should have seen.

I'm thinking maybe I just haven't prayed hard enough to Global Warming, or that I haven't accepted "Climate" as my Lord and Savior, I don't know. I appreciate your thoughts. It might be worth looking into.
