I have got around to measuring the CO2 emitted from my gas cooker and it went up over 2000ppm getting it as close as I could without it melting.I have not done an open wood fire yet as we have a fire ban but it will happen. When I breathe on it goes to 6000ppm I am going to learn to stop breathing to save the planet then the killer whales will stop eating the narwhals

My storage gas Hot Water unit was in the heating cycle but the most CO2 I could get out of that big poofter was 450ppm.It is an efficient unit

We have a bushfire going and the wind from the East has pushed the smoke over the city.My reading was 550ppm.Now the sea breeze has kicked in its gone back to 390ppm

I think what you are learning is that you need to stop breathing to save the planet from the tipping point of your carbon sins...

Why haven't we started the salvation taxation yet?

Lord Biden rejoined all the popular global salvation clubs, and promised to make amends, for transgressions of the previous administration. So disgusted, he can't even speak the name, even if clearly printed on the teleprompter screen. Democracy, is a cult code word, for socialism.

"Democracy" is the term used by Marxists for "Marxism." You will never hear Marxists scream "We want Marxism" but you will hear no end of "We want democracy!" ... and what they demand sounds totally like some brand of Marxism ... because it is.

Silence is the state of things just before the storm.

Democracy is the state of things just before the socialism and the government tyranny.

Those who desperately desire some form of Marxism scream the loudest for "Democracy!"

The good guys are those trying to keep the republic subservient to the people.

What people omit from the climate-debate is urban sprawl. Fewer trees + more people = more CO2. Also consider that burning trees is carbon neutral because of it's long term affect on energy generation.

Less than 1% of Earth's surface is covered by cities, and cities have trees, grass, and other vegetation in them.

I find that very believable.I can not see the capitol city of Perth from where I am as all the trees are in the way

At the same time, the amount of solar radiation w/m^3 could account for any observed increase in warming. The damage to the ozone layer is industrial "in nature". The last 2 words are a pun.
What's also being ignored is less O2 in the troposphere. That lowers the radiance of the lower atmosphere as well. That's also because of industrial processes, etc.
Both "things" are related to an ever increasing world population. This is where sometimes taking the time to actually do the math helps.

p.s., you can have "sum fun" (a pun) with math.

James__, ignore the intended pun, this statement is what is leading you astray. You are attributing industrial chemicals and other "human activity" to the destruction of ozone. Yes, you are correct, but none of this activity you fear is destroying any stratospheric ozone. All of the ozone destruction over which you are fretting is happening to O3 that happens to wander down into the troposphere and is of no consequence.

No force in nature short of blotting out the sun can prevent the sun from creating the same daytime ozone in the stratosphere.
