After the rainy season starts, it's more hit, and miss, often a miss. The climate here, is still lower humidity, less rain, so more dust and crap to color the skies. The video is from last night, time-lapse, only 1 minute long, but turned out pretty good. Just a simple hobby, and I record most nights, when condition seem favorable. Have to really start recording, before sunset, and see how it goes. There is no pause, or rewind, while you get a camera setup, and recording. Can always delete the less interesting later, no big loss.

Two of my top five unforgettable sunsets involved the most spectacular displays of dry lightning facing into the sunset, one on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the other in Panama City, Panama. The other three were in the California high desert with the sun going down in tandem with amazing cloud formations and colors that I have just not seen anywhere else. They were very much "Wow! I didn't know the sky could do that!" moments. As for sunrises, they are always somber and quiet, the world hasn't yet awakened and destroyed the total peace and tranquility with its impending hustle and bustle of the daily grind. Each memorable sunrise for me has been someplace that I never realized was fascinatingly beautiful if seen without people completely detracting from the otherwise outstanding beauty. I have several heat lightning sunset videos. Might already have a couple up on youtube. I've take thousands of videos from my back porch. Usually, just go until the memory card is full, dump them to a hard drive. Many have never been watched. Mostly, only go through them, when I know there are some good ones, mostly to see how well the camera did. YouTube did something bad to this one. Looked better on my computer, before I uploaded it. He's got a good one for you this time. You both seem to have a lot in common as well. How can I attack your service related disability, if you never defined what that might be? Hearing loss, is not consider a disability, not to mention most everybody has some level of loss, starting in their mid-20s. Your cancer, and surgery, were post-navy. Nothing you've ever posted, define a disability/handicap that would prevent you from working, being productive. You do talk quite a bit of projects, that confirm your capacity to do work. Florida is transitioning from it's 'winter' climate, to the summer climate. We still have the dryer air, and less rain, which is favorable for decent sunsets.
