Every day is a treasure. Don't screw up a single one of them. |

Or when our mother left us a note on her door saying she and our father went to an all you can eat buffet for dinner. We had just eaten at a fast food joint. So we decided to go and act like we hadn't eaten. When we were both on our 3rd plate of food our mother said to us, "you've already eaten, haven't you?". And when we asked how she knew, she said that 3 servings of everything let her know that we were trying to hide the fact that we'd already eaten. We were both a couple of "screw ups". Taking things too seriously can be just as bad as not caring about them. My brother is deceased but those 2 memories stand out. I mean seriously, could you eat 3 plates of food after having eaten? We were out to sell it to our mother that we hadn't. That's what gave us away. Yet we each had I think 4 plates of food. We were in a "groove" so to speak so why stop? With the car tire, we walked back up the road (we were going down a slight incline) and found enough lug nuts to hold the wheel on until we got back home again. Sometimes when screwing up isn't an issue it can create life long memories. Edited on 09-10-2021 23:26 |

Are you saying that we should allow government tyranny to ruin one or more of our precious days? Now you are confusing me ... again. Is this your way of saying that for every additional day that we live, our lives are not extended by any additional days? Attached image: |
