I was just watching the Faber/Musk interview and faber asked if harm would come to humanity as a result of ai? Musk answered that there is a strong chance that ai will make life better to humanity but some chance that it will make life worse. Faber didn't force him to get specific. My question would be, "is that a smart bet to make?" After all if you are going to continue to do business, would you accept a chance that you will be forced out of business.
