Kind of what leads to pregnancy. Just because a woman is menstruating does
not mean that her egg has been flushed. And Jewish men knew according to the Bible (Torah) that once your wife starts menstruating, do not conceive a child. ie., don't have sex with her because you might become a daddy.

Most of have practical experience, not just internet pornography...
Back in pre-industrial times. Most people wanted kids, specially boys, to help out with the chores. The Jewish thing wasn't meant so much for their own wife, but somebody else's, or family members. Of course, they would never put it in writing that way, and admit that people had sex with someone not their wife. They follow Moses, who brought down God's law/commandments. They didn't want other men doing their wife, and getting stuck raising kids, not of their own making. Hard to sell a pre-used daughter. |
