We don't need to reduce CO2. It is only 0.04% of the atmosphere (as measured at Mauna Loa) and is incapable of warming the Earth. As far as coal is concerned, it's a renewable fuel, just like oil and natural gas. You can make coal by heating carbon dioxide and hydrogen in an oxygen free atmosphere (natural conditions for this process occur underground). |
