During the time the solar TSI was languid for decades & low for the last 10 years (including a 3+ year period where the solar TSI set a 100 year record low TSI). Why does the temperature record show a rise after 1990, instead of a drop? AGW shows much stronger than the solar TSI drop.
Oh, yeah. What a blessing fer "badnight's" recommended website.

Let's just consider the deficit of water per person on the planet. The table below compares the average daily water usage of about 35 countries with the US leading with 575 liters per person per day.

Numbers are inportant in science.

The numbers you are using are utterly insignificant in the debate over sea level rise.

You do not understand the issues at all.

Tim The Plumber

The numbers will be significant when you explode this to include other countries and other water usage activities that will require that we take more water from the oceans through desalination.

Wake, Tim et al,

I will not be drawn in the debate about the veracity of the claims of global warming. I live in a coastal community and I have seen sea level rises that have encroached on our beaches and causes water back up into the community. My experience is that the sea levels have increased at least in my area (Caribbean).

My argument is that a possible rise in sea level, fact or fiction; is an opportunity to deal with the global food and water deficits. The Sahara can be made green and other desertified regions of the world by using the 'excess' or available water in the ocean. Look up Allan Savory on TedTalks, he has a excellent account of the contribution of deserts and bare ground to global carbon emissions.

PitonObserver, I don't think that you understand the world very well. We are not going to fill up the land areas because the more advanced the civilization the less they feel the need to reproduce to make their older age relatively comfortable.

So the free world has to work a lot more to bring higher standards of living the rest of the world.

The areas in Africa that presently are not being used because of wildlife and the dangers thereof are not going to get safer if more water is available to the native humans.

The same with the Australian outback. Water limits the expansion into these areas and maintain's their pristine wilderness.

We have to work a great deal more with central and south Americans. We have to get the rich there to see that it is for their own good to have a very strong middle class. At this point Brazil has cut down 30% of their rain forest. The only large rainforest left in the world and with perhaps half of all of the animal species on this planet.

If you believe in the environment you don't improve it by trying to keep people out but by eliminating the need for exploiting it.

Wake,

Surely, we are seeing things from different set of lenses. My point of view is based on real life observation and scientific discovery. If the world knows what is good for it, it will immediately seek to reconcile the Global food and water deficits and stop whining about rises in sea levels.

Maybe, I am calling on you to fix the world thinking about reproducing and caring for others as it is not making them safer. The more scarcity that we have is the more wars that will ensue. When people can't afford to eat, they will steal which will start the war.

It does appear that we are looking through different lenses because I've been in a war. In Vietnam the war had NOTHING to do with food or water shortages. In fact the only thing that prevented North Vietnam from being a larger producer than the South was the political system.

There indeed are areas in the world desperately in need of water but desalinization methods have been know for a hundred years and so where are they?

And sharing the world's wealth is nothing more than installing the same communism/socialism that has never worked before and sure as hell won't in the future.

The only thing that will improve conditions are for them to be able to do for themselves and a government that is helping them instead of getting rich while the poor die. Visit Mexico some time.

El Paso, TX is an interesting anomaly. Once I was approaching El Paso. From 50miles away, I could tell it was badly polluted, tho the air away from the city was clear & clean. Driving closer, El Paso showed itself to be spread along the base of a steep ridge of mountains (very dramatic if not for the pollution). Any still air or slight wind against the mtns tends to hold the pollution on the city. Its mean temperatures show rises over the decades.

I suspect that this AGW denier liar whiner, smoke a blowin', website showing temperature rises & falls around the country, that if charts showing rising minimum temperatures were superimposed on charts showing rising mean temperatures, the minimum temperatures would be rising quicker compared to mean temperatures, over long averages. We already know from a number of examples that when mean temperatures are falling, often (> than 60%?) minimum temperatures are rising.

That "pollution" is not El Paso. It's the huge number of homeless people across the border in Juarez burning anything they can find to stay warm at night. The air patterns become stagnant and it does hover over both cities at times. Not sure where Fresmex is but he could probably confirm that.

Judging from the occasional entry I read after seeing him answering himself four or five times in a row he has a huge amount of hatred for himself. That appears to be a liberal trait that I've been watching. The attacks on Trump are nothing but the outward extension of this same self-hatred.

To a certain extent this could be said about liberals in general. They do seem to be a very hate filled group. You will find bigotry and even racism fairly common of them. It slips into their conversations soon or later.

Of course Trump represents an obvious target of this hate because he is taking steps to reduce their influence in government. They have to come up with comparisons of the worst of themselves while denying what they are to try to destroy him, but Trump seems to be the Corbomite President.

It must suck to be a liberal.

The idea that they would do things against their own best interests because of almost the entire glut of "liberal" organizations are telling them to do so and they are ALL, without hardly an exception, funded by George Soros who during WW II helped the Nazi's round up all of the Jews INCLUDING HIS OWN FAMILY.

When asked if he was sorry about this he said that 1944 was the best time in his life because he held absolute power.

This is what is driving liberalism but slowly it is receding. The women are being laughed off of the podium - imagine complained about not being treated as equals and then crying that they are being given special treatment. Raging headline with picture of one of the Trump supporters punching an Anti-Trump woman in the face after she attacked him - TRUMP SUPPORTER STRIKES WOMAN. Raging headline: FEMALE SEALS NOT ALLOWED TO GO INTO COMBAT. Of course they cannot carry the load required by a Navy Seal and would represent a clear and present danger to any mission.

Illegal aliens are now understanding what is going to happen to them if they make public spectacles of themselves. Three that were officials in an organization to keep illegals that were brought here as children were arrested and are being deported. Their parents should have known that being illegal means being illegal. I don't care if they've never known another country - an illegal is an illegal. They will be going home and learn to live like the natives of another country that they are.

Blacks are finding success and discovering that the white man doesn't hate them because they're black. That their so-called leaders (also almost totally funded by Soros) have been breeding racism among blacks and not whites being racist.

The worm has turned and the only liberals that aren't moving back to humanity are those that are too sick to think for themselves. Soros has the hooks in them.

Why would the Four Horses Asses of the Apocalypse fight tooth and nail despite having not the slightest training in science? There is something really sick going on here.

Yup. Still spamming.

You aren't going to make any difference to a person so mentally disturbed. His long meaningless rambles and answering his own postings multiple times shows an illness.

True, but this is western Washington. We have a lot of religious faithful of the Church of Global Warming here.

Chief Litebeer is a special case. He also holds a lot of racism and bigotry, even against his own people.

It's the same old song. The battle for absolute power.

Fortunately, people in this country seem to be waking up to what it all is.

"old sick silly sleepy sleezy slimy steenkin' filthy vile reprobate rooting (& rotting) racist pukey proud pig AGW denier liar whiner badnight" bluffed:...The battle for absolute power.

Back in the 70's, I tuned my 65HP car for 5000 foot altitude for my tour around the western U.S. While ascending 14,200+ foot Mt. Evans, I was stuck behind a long line (really long line) of 200+ HP vehicles belching smoke & choking trying to get up the mtn. with steep cliffs off the side of the windy road. No one was passing anybody because they could barely run. I floored my 65HP & zipped around all the vehicles. Mightee did ma' 65 HP reign with absolute power that day, ah tell ya true.
Ah always tell true. True, "old sick silly sleepy sleezy slimy steenkin' filthy vile reprobate rooting (& rotting) racist pukey proud pig AGW denier liar whiner bluff badnight" is an old sick silly sleepy sleezy slimy steenkin' filthy vile reprobate rooting (& rotting) racist pukey proud pig AGW denier liar whiner bluffing badnight.

There are no answers there - only pie-in-the-sky statements most of which are unachievable.

"old sick silly sleepy sleezy slimy steenkin' filthy vile reprobate rooting (& rotting) racist pukey proud pig AGW denier liar whiner wake-me-up" woofed: There are no answers there...

Specially with "Don'T rump" who is setting up oil wells & coal mining pits next to Yellowstone Nat'l Park geysers, like "Old Faithful". Downwind tent campers have the wondrous smell of the 24 hour operating metal smelter plants. In other parks the campers look over the brown haze built-up on the Grand Teton Mountains, since smelter plant emissions will spread. You're half-way thru Jackson Hole before you realize you're in Jackson Hole.
Yeah.... "Don'T rump" has the answers.

Present High Arctic Berserker or FAB
is dead..... long live FAB
!!!
A mid-Siberian cold front that developed between two warm Siberian fronts, strengthened & sent a fairly narrow cold band directly to the North Pole. Simultaneously, the cold front that has been a long-time Canadian resident due to cold upwelling Northeastern Pacific Ocean waters that sent cold air into Canada, made stronger incursions into the High Arctic. Despite normal increasing warmth due to ever increasing direct solar radiation at this time of year, FAB

could not stay ahead of the average High Arctic temperature curve.
FAB
existed for a powerful 230+ days(almost 235 days?), an extreme presentation of the extreme AGW warming occurring in the High Arctic, which is an extreme reflection of general AGW Earth warming, due to increasing man-made non-phase change, infra-red energy absorbing GHGs AND their feedbacks AND AGW controlled phase change, infra-red energy absorbing GHG water vapor AND its feedbacks.
