Why don't people build some big artificial lakes and transport the melting Greenland glaciers to those lakes where people can swim around and have fun? I think it would be a good idea.

They could just make the transport ships out of Greenland ice, and then use those ships to transport Greenland ice around the world. If that is successful, they can expand into the Antarctica ice market.

This is great stuff! Too bad the face of war changed. You might have something here. A fresh water supply for difficult areas is one use. It doesn't have to move fast or fight a war. You could make a cruise ship out of one to pay for the voyage.

If each of these artificial lakes is 1 sq km or more, and more than 1000 of these are built across America, the entire Greenland glacier can be moved to these lakes, providing abundant fresh water and excellent seasonal moderation effects.

Millions of unemployed? No problem. Grab a shovel and put your backs into it.
