No, I think you are trying to sell socialism. You seldom mention global warming, climate change or CO2 in the majority of your comments. You also tend to hijack of threads, with your silly, socialist comments.
CO2 doesn't do anything special in the atmosphere. It's 400 ppm, or about 0.04%, which just isn't enough to make any significant difference, unless it had a very powerful, special property. That powerful special property would have been discovered, and exploited a long time ago. The only special property, is that it's the only byproduct produced, that doesn't naturally occur in huge quantities. It's produced most from something most people a dependent on, energy and transportation. It's easy to tax, since people would rather give up the money, than do without electricity or transportation.
How many of your CO2 heroes gave up their private jets, mega yachts, or generate their own electricity to power their homes? They certainly have the resources to set an example. It's all talk, free face time on TV, they don't actual care about anything beyond themselves. Even if they did want to give up their life of luxury, or clutter their estates with eye-sore solar panels and windmills, the could spend some of their wealth providing alternative energy to others, like local schools and businesses. They have the greatest resources to actually make a difference, but they only talk about, encourage others to go carbon free. They donate money to other similar people, who just talk about, but don't do anything themselves to go carbon free, just encourage others to give up carbon fuels, and try to get the government to mandate it for everyone else. They can still afford the carbon fuels for their personal toys.

Yes, Harvey, you are spot on.

Actually it does. It feed plants. I consider that to be extremely special and if there is a goddess Climate out there then I want to thank Her for that aspect of CO2. Of course I would ask Her why she put so little of it in the atmosphere but I know how She would respond, i.e. that She has full confidence that we will make all we want and need.

I don't believe that it is that high. The only readings we have are near a volcano that is spewing CO2. Of course any rational person would have to adjust the figures downward knowing the data are skewed way too high.

... which is why we can't cook food by simply spraying CO2 on it.

From The MANUAL:
In the Global Warming mythology, an SUV is a pornographically "unclean" vehicle wrought by Global Warming for His war against Climate. The SUV has mighty powers of seduction over deniers. Using an SUV is considered a grave mortal sin unless approved by clergy for their own personal use. Inappropriate touching or oggling of SUVs is not to be permitted and children are to be warned at young ages of their dangers.
Global Warming: The preferred religion of the scientifically illiterate.

Ah the "Valid Data" myth of ITN/IBD. - tmiddles
Ceist - I couldn't agree with you more. But when money and religion are involved, and there are people who value them above all else, then the lies begin. - trafn
You are completely misunderstanding their use of the word "accumulation"! - Climate Scientist.
The Stefan-Boltzman equation doesn't come up with the correct temperature if greenhouse gases are not considered - Hank

IB STILL hasn't explained what Planck's Law means. Just more hand waving that it applies to everything and more asserting that the greenhouse effect 'violates' it.- Ceist

I didn't go into plants, again, been covered pretty well, many times.
I drive a 2003 Ford Explorer, the P.O.S edition... I really have no need of an SUV, it's just the only decent running vehicle I could afford, in a pinch, thanks to Obama's Cash-4-Clunkers, used car destroying program. I prefer a small truck, or a sporty little car, but drive whatever I can find. This is actually my second Explorer. My first was 1990 Explorer, the rollover edition, which only needed a transmission. Got it free, well $1200 for the transmission. Not a huge Ford fan, by any means, but it's better than mass transit...
Awe, come on Harvey! What's not to love about Ford? They are like a good teacher. They circle your mistake.
