Because the carbon tax that they tried to push on America was nothing but a get rich quick scheme for people like al gore. Climate change is 90% nature, if not more. Nor is it harmful, so why should we try to stop it? |

In America, people are free to get wealthy, if the want. It's pretty universal, that you can't get rich, spending your own money, and we understand that. We don't like people spending our money, to make themselves rich. A carbon tax effects everybody, not just those rich, other people. We are fairly reluctant to accept any new taxes, and increasing existing taxes. Our government has to do it sneaky, part of a scam legislation, where they'll give us something we want or need, if we agree. It's probably why the Democrats hate/fear Trump so much, he'll spoil there game, if allowed to run free. They are pretty much guarantying he'll get another four years in 2020. 20 Democrat candidates running, so far, must be a record breaker. The shotgun strategy is kind of short range, and not likely to do much damage. Haven't heard of any Republican competition to Trump, so it's likely a done deal. Now, our next Democrat/socialist president might work to slip a carbon tax through, worked for ObamaCare. Basically, global warming is at best, a 'maybe' in the distant future, not going to be a problem for anybody, and most living things today, except maybe some trees. We are being asked to give up a great deal, for something we will never see how it worked out, or even if there was any success. We aren't even seeing any effects of this crisis, it's just been normal weather, sometimes extreme, which isn't unusual. Last time I saw polar bears and penguins, they seemed to be doing fine, at Sea World Orlando... |

What ever you say junior. This is a discussion for adults. Come back in, say, 15 years. |
