Look at Sweden and Canada. Cold, few people. Look at Mexico and Pakistan. Hot, lots of people. It's a proven fact people like warmer climate better. Plus more CO2 is beneficial for agriculture anyway. So what's the problem?

Yep.

If anybody can actually explain any trouble, in their own words, with support from some sort of science to explain the mechanism for this bad thing fire away.

Exactly... There is no problem; there is no crisis. Increased CO2 levels in the future wouldn't negatively affect us...

As the Ice Core research has shown, we peaked out long ago and have been falling ever since why are we being told that ice is melting when there are only two weeks out of the year when temperatures are above freezing in the Arctic and those temperatures have been significantly below normal these last two years?

There is something seriously wrong in NASA and NOAA. Why have they made the temperature record look like Dr. Michael Mann's hockey stick the data for which Dr. Mann was unable to produce in a Canadian court and for which he is now liable for all of the legal expense of Tim Ball which runs into the millions of dollars. These allegations MUST be brought before a Congressional investigation and the likes of the leadership forced to answer hard questions until we get to the bottom of this.

Congress has dedicated it's investigative powers entirely on Trump. They aren't interested in anything else right now, until they get the results they decided on. If they were simply looking for the truth, they would have already found it, shouldn't have taken more than a few months.

There are already many in congress, that drank the kool-aid, and completely onboard with climate change agenda. It's good for them, because it lets them move tax money around, profitable, since it can be steered toward personal business interests and investments.

Most of the people in congress aren't scientists, or really understand science (and a lot of other things), they have to rely on the experts, like the ones they would be investigating. Most of the politicians could probably care less about climate change, but they do see the potential to take advantage of those who do. Climate change isn't about weather, it's about environmental issues, energy use, and money, all things that attract voters. It's good for politics, so they don't want to ruin a good thing. Just the accusation is damaging, if taken to the investigative level.

Works for any dog. That's what folks that train animals for the movies do too. They can get those dogs to do some amazing stuff, and on cue. Those dogs are happy, love to perform, and love their trainers. They never beat an animal. That just makes it fearful and vicious.

Even police dogs, which are TRAINED to become vicious on command, are trained out of positive reinforcement. Those dogs love their trainers, and will put their own safety secondary to protecting their trainers.

I'm afraid you're too right. But we can force them to care. We can rub their noses in it.

That doesn't force anything, Wake. Not even a dog.

And so now you don't even know how to train a dog and are proud of it. Your Earth is getting flatter with every posting.

You train a dog with reinforcement, Wake. Not by beatings or sticking their nose in their own poop. Some dogs like to PLAY with their own poop.

The Earth is not flat, Wake.
And again you show us that you've never trained a dog.

Then how do you train a dog, Wake? Reinforcement works for my dogs...

Exactly... reinforcement works... it gets good results and the dogs enjoy pleasing their owners...

Judging by Wake's anger issues on this forum, I wouldn't be surprised if his anger issues get directed at his dogs as a form of "training"...

Listening to people like you talk about the bible verses is a laugh. My father-in-law was a traveling Baptist minister who started 22 churches. I have to listen to bible verses almost all of the time from my wife. I am Catholic and know them very well. And you apparently do not:

Genesis 3:7-19

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings. They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?"read more.
He said, "I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself." And He said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?" The man said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate." Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." The LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, Cursed are you more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you will go, And dust you will eat All the days of your life; And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel." To the woman He said, "I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you." Then to Adam He said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat from it'; Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it All the days of your life. "Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you; And you will eat the plants of the field; By the sweat of your face You will eat bread, Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return."

In other words - even man must be taught good from bad. But that doesn't seem to work with either you or Nightmare.

I dont believe your claims about your father-in-law, your wife, nor yourself nor your Catholic religion.

That Bible passage (in a VERY general sense, to save space) is speaking of when humanity first was able to see and know what evil was, instead of having a child-like innocence and ignorance of what evil was. It also speaks of the individual curses/punishments for the individual sins committed. However, we are speaking of good pet training methods... I'm not sure what those Bible verses have to do with pet training methods, or with pets making mistakes (such as peeing in the house instead of outside)...

But, even with rearing children, positive reinforcement works MUCH better than "sticking their nose in it"...

But then you agree with Nightmare that there are no geological or other scientific records of past climate of CO2 levels. So it's not a surprise that you don't understand anything else around you either. Reenforcement without showing a dog what he did wrong to start with indeed!

And like Nightware when challenged you simply say, "I don't believe you". What a psychological coward!

I simply bring up a vague reference to a Bible verse (as a nugget of knowledge) and your anger issues get the best of you once again... Just try to calm down for a second...

Correct. There aren't even any CURRENT records of global climate or global CO2 levels... we don't have the means to measure those things...

Compositional Error Fallacy about my misunderstanding of "everything else" given my supposed misunderstanding of a thing or two...

You dont have to stick a dogs nose in their own pile of poop inside the house... just give them positive praise for pooping outside and they will learn that outside is where they are supposed to poop. You really do need to get control of your anger as it seems to be affecting multiple areas of your life...

Claims like that dont hold any ground on a debate forum... I dont have to believe them, especially if I find reason to not believe them, as I do with your claims of Bible understanding.

Jews were slow to anger. As a result they willingly boarded trains. Most of the 6 million who died as a result of the Holocaust was because of the living conditions in the concentration camps that they were sent to. Fortunately for Nazi's Jews were slow to anger.

Yep.

If anybody can actually explain any trouble, in their own words, with support from some sort of science to explain the mechanism for this bad thing fire away.

I just read a study that was about Vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 is formed by exposure to sunlight. Europeans developed the social construct of heavy clothing and then even I warmer weather they would remained completely covered as if their were afraid of the Sun.

Rickets or bones that were soft and malleable were common. It was discovered that if you put just a single arm out into the sunlight for a significant time that the bones would harden to the proper consistency. What's more all of the rest of the bones on the body would also do so regardless that they were not exposed.

While it is a rather complex conversion at the end of it vitamin D3 is formed and so the belief started that vitamin D3 was necessary. Study after study showed that exposure to sunlight either cured of reduced the frequency of everything from kidney stones to cancer.

For instance - the most northern states are the coldest and people in those states expose themselves to the sun far less than in, say, Arizona, where a cold day is 60 degrees F. So by using the LATITUDE of a state as an indication of how much sun people are exposed to they find that the northernmost states have higher rates of breast cancer and even multiple sclerosis.

If we were to HAVE global warming - which we don't - it would rather sharply reduce death rates of some common diseases by as much as 65%.

Tony Heller has published a whole load of Youtube videos. He isn't a scientist. He is a reporter. But he is the real thing reporter that doesn't copy the NASA handouts. He has gone through a great deal of trouble to trace ALL of NASA's lies back and shows them to be absolute lies. Not incorrect science mind you - but outright lies.

I seriously suggest that you actually read how those 6 million Jews died - it was not the living conditions. Remember - I worked under men who marched into Dachau and Auschwitz. The common American soldier was not aware what was happening and assumed that they would free a bunch of prisoners. The NAZI guards were lined up next to the ash pits and shot. One sergeant said that they continued to pour bullets into the dead bodies that had rolled down into the ashes of the Jews.

Non-sequitur fallacy. This has nothing to do with dog training, and does not discuss anyone punishing anyone. Adam and Eve knew full well the consequences of their decision to leave the Garden and the presence of God and enter the world of today, both the good and bad consequences. They freely made that choice.

You, on the other hand, are bound by the chains of your own anger.

No, Wake. It is YOU that brought up an related scripture to talk about dog training!

Science isn't data. There is no such thing as a 'scientific' record. Science is a set of falsifiable theories. CO2 concentration is not climate, Wake. There are no records, past or present, of global atmospheric CO2 concentration or global oceanic CO2 concentration.

No, it's because you have long history of claiming your are an expert because of some credential or job history, and you aren't.

This is actually a divisional error fallacy. He is extending the property of an item of a class across an unrelated class.

A compositional error is improperly extending the property of an item of a class across other items in the same class, or across the class itself.

So was the rest of the world, slow to anger. However, when they DID become angry, it completely overwhelmed the Nazis.

I seriously suggest that you actually read how those 6 million Jews died -

Living conditions, and ovens.
Wake wrote:
it was not the living conditions.
Ovens are not living conditions, Wake.

Irrelevant. That doesn't make you an expert on any of it, Wake.

The common American soldier was not aware what was happening and assumed that they would free a bunch of prisoners.

They were after the first camp was freed.
Wake wrote:
The NAZI guards were lined up next to the ash pits and shot. One sergeant said that they continued to pour bullets into the dead bodies that had rolled down into the ashes of the Jews.

This is a climate forum. Why is anybody even talking about concentration camps and the slaughter of the Jews?

re: Wake's claims of authority concerning Bible verses.

Precisely... drugs ARE a huge problem... my cousin died last month due to a drug overdose... she was a godless person who hung out with the wrong crowd. She only lived 25 years... such a short life, and one which was completely wasted away by drugs, druggie friends, thievery, narcissism, obsession with her body, and other lawbreaking/immorality rather than using her various talents (and she really could've made something of herself) to serve God...

It's sad when you see people make these kinds of choices. Such a waste.

If its something we can not stop why worry. The rich will not want to stop getting richer. To do that we need growth in all areas so they can. So growth will produce more of what is creating climate change.

There's another of Nightmare's idiotic statements. Tell us all what you think that "circular argument" means as relates to climate change?
