Just because it got 1 more atom does not mean it vibrates more. Different molecules have completely different characteristics and physical properties. Take water for instance. Stick an oxygen atom on H2 and boom all the properties change drastically. So what makes scientists think CO2 vibrates more than O2 and N2 do? |

It's not all scientists, just Climatologists, how are more like religious fanatics, than people actually interested in facts. They use what ever they can find to convert the non-believers of there faith-based organization. CO2 is kind of rare, 0.04% of the atmosphere. In reality, it doesn't matter much, what CO2 does, very little of it compared to everything else. Only so much energy available, nothing in the atmosphere creates more energy. This is what should be hard to ignore, CO2 would have to be an extremely special, and very powerful molecule, compared to anything else known to mankind, if it really had any strong potential. CO2 could be harnessed to meet all of our energy needs, in a very small package. Obviously, it's not, and has limited uses. Mostly, it's a benefit for plants, and food production. More CO2, would be a better thing for the planet, and really improbable that it has anything to do with climate. |
