In order to make "projections" you have to start with honest data and NASA has seen that you cannot get it. Therefore you are constrained within the limits of the false data that NASA has given.

Climate can't be defined in equations, it's a subject observation, describing how we feel about our surroundings. There is no 'normal', and there isn't a global climate, since no one can observe the entire planet. One person's 'feelings' doesn't reflect those of everyone else, except maybe in a dictatorship government country, where disagreement is short lived. No some people don't respect other people's opinions, and will go to great lengths to convince everyone else, that they are right (well, usually far 'left'), every who disagrees are wrong.

Nah. NASA had no power in this. There is no data to begin with. NASA isn't hiding data. There simply isn't any in the first place.

It is not possible to measure the temperature of the Earth.

Buried in all this is the incorrect assumption that data is somehow needed.

If you have science, you no longer need data. You have the science.

On the other board, I was explaining how warmizombies should just shut up about this amazing "the data" they have (that strangely no one has ever seen) and worry about getting some science because then they wouldn't need "the data". I then got the predictable scientifically illiterate response "You can't have science without data."

I want to learn the secret to the warmizombies' Jedi mind trick that gets the stupidest people to perceive themselves as virtual Einsteins. They say the stupidest crap with the utmost confidence that it is settled science and that they somehow sound smart by saying it with a straight face.

Yup. They don't realize the data or even data collection is not science, and has nothing to do with science. Science is just the falsifiable theories themselves.

Their 'settled science' and manufactured data is just their way of trying to claim Universal Truths.

The idea of "settled science" that these twits confidently chant is quite laughable... Science is never "settled"... A theory of science isn't a proof in any way. That theory just hasn't been falsified as of yet...
