UN weather report: Climate woes bad and getting worse faster Really don't know how these people can still print this nonsense, and expect anyone to believe it. How in the hell do they measure sea level rise to the milometer? Hell, measuring the height of a person, can vary an inch. Besides, water is added and removed from the oceans, constantly. Hurricane Ian sucked up a lot of water, and dumped it on Florida. Surprised they didn't mention that 'catastrophe' in their report. Embarrassed maybe? They have been fear-mongering stronger, more frequent hurricanes for decades, an it's just not happening. Milder than past decades. Historically, all the weather events they are crying about, have happened throughout written history, some times worse than more recent years. Surprisingly, no mention of the huge, gaping hole in the Ozone Layer... |

Convenience stores that charge double for their products wouldn't succeed otherwise. They offer consumers the ability to fill up the gas tank, grab a large soda, some candy, a slice of pizza, a new USB cable to charge your phone, a magazine and be back on your road trip in a few minutes. Regrettably, this is characteristic of human nature. Humans want convenience. They demand it. Just as convenience stores are happy to make lots of money making commuters' lives more convenient, there are people who are happy to acquire wealth and power providing people the service of doing their thinking for them. The article you posted is just a sample of that service. You asked how they expect anyone to believe it. You are asking about the very demand of their intended market sector. This world is awash in people who are intellectually lazy who absolutely eat this stuff up because it is so very convenient. Read that article again. Notice how it is so neatly packaged. Notice how no thinking is required, i.e. it's all provided for the reader. Everything that must be assumed and believed in advance is built right in. Please notice how the article does nothing to prepare the reader for any difficult questions because no questions will ever be forthcoming. Those who crave convenience aren't going to arbitrarily give themselves additional work to offset any convenience achieved, i.e. asking questions and seeking verification will always be avoided. The short answer to your question is that they can continue to print the most absurd crap in full anticipation that large cross-sections of the population will eat it up. If you ever want to test that theory, post an article about "quantum computing" and see who can't wait to totally believe it. |
