A lawsuit filed on behalf of 21 kids alleges the U.S. government knowingly failed to protect them from climate change. If the plaintiffs win, it could mean massive changes for the use of fossil fuels

If the plaintiffs win, such a court would have had to:
* Define 'climate change' * Blame the U.S. government for something it has no authority over. * Condone establishing a State religion at the federal level (in violation of the 1st amendment)
or look totally ridiculous and biased.
The government does not support fossils fuels. Fossils don't burn.
Government subsidies for things like coal, oil, or natural gas are for finding new uses for these fuels, finding more efficient ways to produce them, find productive uses of the byproducts of producing these fuels. It does not subsidize the fuel production itself for any of these fuels.
So these twits are suing the U.S. government for something it isn't even doing.
