Why did Violetta Valérie (La Traviata) never wear a coat if she lived in the middle of the Little Ice Age?

There are three kinds of climate change: that generated by natural factors; that generated by man; and that generated by economic interests.

Verdi was a science denier who imposed his Global Warming delusion into his scenarios as a form of self-validation.

... or the opera was actually written when it wasn't so cold outside.

WRONG: La Traviata was written in 1853, in the middle of the Little Ice Age. It was very cold throughout Europe, and Violetta Valérie wore low-cut dresses without a coat to provoke Alfredo.

The correct answer is that Verdi knew the sexual appeal to the public of Violetta's breasts, and intentionally ignored climate change.

WRONG: When La Traviata was written, it wasn't particularly cold. Paris didn't have a record cold temperature until more than a quarter-century later. Yes, French audiences do not take the Muslim apporach to viewing women, but there was no reason for the authors to ink a script with Violetta wearing coats.
