Does anyone here have serious problems with the Microsoft vaccine? Do you think computers alter our lives enough for government to control the tracking of our altered lives?

No semantics please.

Admittedly, I am confused by this line of questioning.

I use Linux and am satisfied with how well it works. It's a tool while social media allows people's lives to be tracked. And many apps ask you for access to about all information on your device.
And if you read what they're asking, it's not if they can copy all of your files. Giving them access could be considered as implied consent. After all, did you say no?

GasGuzzler,

You're just arguing semantics. Printing money does not increase the amount of money.

My batting average SUCKS.

I used to go skinny dipping with some girls when I was younger. It was a fun way to figure out what's what. That was before my Christian days. Now I oppose all forms of sex because that's very Christian-like. Why do you hate handicapped people?

I stand in awe. You are on a roll like butter ... on steroids ... with a vengeance.

... but gfm7175 is correct, helping Into the Night understand the line of questioning does not increase the number of dollars.

Just have a dinner with Sven Issen and you'll feel a lot better.

gfm7175 wrote:Why do you hate handicapped people?

Out of envy. They are more righteous than I am because they are victims of victimization. They have handicap privilege and I don't. And if their projects work out, they'll be able to have a life with Christians who don't skinny-dip.

Have you guys been vaccinated against HIV? If not, maybe you guys should consider it. That is what kind of forum this is, right?
No worries, I'm the one who's in the wrong place.

If my project works out, I'll be able to have a life without worrying about whether any Christians skinny dip or whether they are alpha males who don't need to throw away their money on Evergrow.

... but this gets into English Premier League and whether Salah will remain with Liverpool.

I must really be ruining the mood in here. I wouldn't know the ansfield 11 from a pitch unless you're talking a curveball but I don't follow rugby. You guys have a nice scrotum. Isn't that what they call it? Oops, I meant scrum, that's it right? You know, where guys are grabbing each other and holding onto each other. I heard they really "get up" for it.

Sadly with my project, a Christian man told me that I'd be his wife. I guess like many Christians, he went to church and came away empty inside. I've noticed a lot of that. They're like you guys in here, you need validation. Yet if you did something then maybe you wouldn't need validation? Then again Europeans tend to laugh at Americans.
And I think I am the only one in here who has lived in both Europe and the US while the European country wasn't English speaking. Where I really cross people though is that I'm not giving in to my disabilities and handicaps. And because you guys have it easy, you're showing what that allows for which isn't much.
And as far as Bessler's wheel goes, if I can demonstrate a part of German history that they don't know about then this guy https://www.mpic.de/3785120/profile-poeschl might work with me on my atmospheric chemistry experiment. While he is Austrian, Max Planck University is in Germany.
And with this being climate-debate forum, that's being on topic and not political.
And this then would make you guys jealous because you have little interest in science. Just not my problem.

Always thrilled when you're entertained, but maybe the humble teacher should take a bow. I learned it from you!

...and if my project works out for me, Christians will dine with Sven Issen under the Van Allen Radiation Belts, which allows for ozone heat transfer into flawlessly prepared bacon wrapped bacon and a side of venison. This demonstrates that Norwegians and handicaps alike can have a better life. But this gets into solar wind farm energy and quantum Bessler theory. But this is way over your head because you guys never learned about that. Sad.

Where I work, one is lucky to get validated parking and not have to use any of the overflow lots.

James___ wrote:Yet if you [rode your bike to work] then maybe you wouldn't need validation?

I don't want to bike 30+ miles each way

James___ wrote:Then again Europeans tend to laugh at all of their neighbors

... except that they keep forgetting about Slovakia. Nobody remembers Slovakia when it comes time to make jokes about other countries.

"How many Slovaks does it take to screw in a light bulb?" asked nobody ever.

James___ wrote: And I think I am the only one in here who has lived in both Europe and the US while the European country wasn't English speaking.

I have lived in both Europe and the US while the European country wasn't English-speaking. What do I win?

James___ wrote:Where I really cross people though is that I'm not giving in to my disabilities and handicaps.

I must commend you. I sort of expected you to not give in to your disabilities, but to not give in to your disabilities *and* to your handicaps is truly amazing.

James___ wrote: And because you guys have it easy, you're showing what that allows for which isn't much.

I've always had it easy, because it allows for it to be difficult, which makes it easy. It's kind of difficult.

James___ wrote: And as far as Bessler's wheel goes, if I can demonstrate a part of German history that they don't know about

Oh, I'm sure German history is virtually unknown. You shouldn't have any problem there.

... just like COVID-induced Climate Change by people not wearing facemasks.

A Norwegian goes to the psychiatrist and says "Having dinner with Sven Issen made me so depressed that I wish I was never Björn." The psychiatrist asks "Is this some kind of joke?" The Norwegian adds that if his computer project works out that he'll have developed Norse Code. The psychiatrist suggests that all he might need is to take a woman for an intimate tour along the river, suggesting possibly a fjord escort. The psychiatrist then advised him to take it easy and to not be forceful by Norwegian standards ... to just be strong to the Finnish.

James__ and IBDaMann are walking down the road when IBDaMann shouts "James__, be careful ... don't step in that schytt." James__ notices that it sure looks like schytt. He sniffs it and notices that it sure smells like schytt. He pokes it with his finger and it sure feels like schytt. Then James__ tastes it and, judging by the fact that it sure tastes like schytt, that it must truly be schytt, prompting James__ to exclaim "I'm sure glad I didn't step in it."
------------
A hooded robber burst into a Climate-Debate convention and started robbing people at gunpoint. Suddenly, a brave conservative grabs the robber's hood, revealing his face. The robber immediately shot the conservative. The robber then looked around and noticed another conventioneer looking straight at him. The robber instantly shot him also. Everyone else was now looking directly at the floor in silence. The robber yelled, "Did anyone else see my face?" After an awkward silence, Harvey says "James__ got a pretty good look at you."

It's nice to see that you guys have learned from Harvey. Attack, attack, attack because that is what made America Great and it was war after war after war.
The US has basically been at war since 1941. That's all Americans seem to know.

Actually that would be prior to 1920.

A vaccine isn't a computer, so there's no relation there, despite Bill Gates money in vaccines.

Actually, computers and the internet have democratized information. People have access to being better informed than ever before. There are those companies that try to take absolute control of information, of course, but that's not possible. No one single entity controls the internet or any dark net.

Packets can be sent via phone line, fiber, radio, etc. They can be encrypted so that their content can't be monitored effectively. The DNS service is distributed throughout thousands of nodes operated by independent entities, so it's not even possible to control it.

You can see what I'm talking about with Facebook and Twitter. People have just built the alternatives Parlor and Gab. These are open source services. Anyone can set up a Gab server.

The News media no longer controls information, though they think they do. It is just too easy to cross check their stories, compare it against 'the horses mouth', so to speak, and keep a record of what they've said before and how they contradict themselves.

Computers and the internet have certainly altered our lives. This can be said for any invention. Just because it exists makes a big difference.

Government control? That's a function of people's willingness to allow government to control, not because they have a superior computer ability or anything (they are often well behind the technology!).

Example: It took the federal government a good 20 years to finally get their systems available on the web at all. They use 10-20 year old programming techniques, and older hardware to run it on. The Seattle Metro bus schedule website, as a specific example, is written in COBOL! Much of the Washington State dept of Licensing stuff is written in PL/1 or even COBOL!

The Oligarchy is even worse when it comes to technology. They think it's super nifty to even have a site online at all!

The News Media have been the quickest to adapt, but much of their stuff is behind paywalls of various kinds. They are still of the mindset that you pay for your news subscription (instead of letting advertising pay for it).

Even advertisements is largely a matter of choice to put up with anymore, with add-ons available to quash almost all of them.

You can buy most anything you want online now, and not just Amazon. I can buy stuff directly from Japan or the UK if I want, or any other nation you can name, without ever leaving my desk.

Work has largely become online, leaving companies paying for buildings that folks no longer use. The larger the company, the harder it is to maneuver. It will get caught like a dinosaur on a bad day when the meteor comes crashing down on them.

That meteor is us.
