|Opinion Poll for final thesis Climate change and automobile industry31-05-2017 22:06|
|Hello everyone, |
In order to finish our final degree thesis, we need to carry out a research. We would like to know your opinion on some topics where we believe you have some expertise knowledge like climate change, EU position in what regards this topic and the way the EU automobile industry.
The main objective of our research is to examine the position of today's drivers and potential car buyers with regard to the crucial time that is experimenting the European car industry because of the emerging interest in alternative fuels and the increasing criticism of diesel vehicles. On this basis, we will make a prediction of how this industry should evolve to be able to meet the intensified ecological pressure.

This is nothing more than the usual "what should we do about the global warming that we all know that man is causing".
It is long past time that we stop treating people like this as somehow simply misinformed.
What we are seeing is an educational system designed to convince these people that AGW is occurred despite the real science. Or that they shouldn't actually so some research for themselves before making the extremely stupid "studies" as this one.
If you do not know what you're talking about please don't ask those who do to agree with you just to be polite.
David, I was a little harsh but that is for a reason. Young people are inundated virtually 24 hours a day with the almost unbelievable non-science of global warming.
Please allow me to make some points:
The NOAA record of global warming is a chart like this:
This looks pretty scary. But now let us look at the satellite record from 1979 to present:
While the satellite record might show some slight warming of 10% of the NOAA claim, the fact is that the AVERAGE temperature over this time period is zero change.
We could go into the science of how the NOAA records are derived and where the errors occur, but at the moment that isn't important and what you can see is that the DIRECT measurements of satellites shows a completely different record of what NOAA claims. More importantly you are getting nothing but the NOAA claims from the media.
You need to grow a VERY skeptical attitude about what the leftists, environmentalists and media are claiming in a unending barrage.
My belief which could be wrong is that it is all promulgated by leftists for whom governmental power is everything and personal freedom is anathema.
While sitting outside of a store yesterday and drinking a cup of coffee there was a man attempting to get signatures on a "rent control bill" proposal. I tried to explain to him that rent control is against the First Amendment to the Constitution but he couldn't understand me. The First Amendment states that you may not tax a single group of people - landowners. And the Supreme Court proclaimed the demand for Obama-care a tax. So the government doesn't have to take money directly from one group but the mere demand that they take money from one group as opposed to another is sufficient to make it unconstitutional.
So how do you handle extraordinarily rising rent? You move elsewhere. Even though you may like where you are. Even though it is handy to your work. Any number of things may make you want to stay put. But you cannot force landholders to take less money for their rent than they want to charge.
This is just one of the many destructive ideas that are being taught to young people all over the USA today. That somehow a central government should have the power to order it's citizens about is what the Constitution was written to avoid. Any government large enough to give you all you want is big enough to take all you have and in every country where it's been tried that is what it results in.
