This encourages new growth, the dust particulates in the air encourage rain, etc., etc. ..By preventing forest fires we have what's now going on. Too many trees and not enough moisture to keep them from drying out unless you're on the east coast of the U.S. where those nice cool winds from Canada help to keep moisture circulating in the atmosphere down here.
