Another reason why I think these Northern lights are not seen over a wider swath of geography, is because, as I said earlier, the lights (charged particles) are flickering inside Heaven's glass. Not all of the particles get charged evenly, and the glass panes containing the charged particles is only about 60 to 90 miles high. So some local lights flickering just 60 to 90 miles above Tallahassee may not be seen in Jacksonville.
