It is not every day I see a double rainbow.

So when I snap this pic at 8:42 a.m Christmas morning, it seems to me as cause for a Happy Holiday thread, on a site about weather. We have been having some Pineapple Express weather all week in the SF Bay Area.

And Happy New Year!

Another cool sign I noticed today, was all these crows flocking conspicuously to a tree behind my place.

Dozens of them squawking, like an Alfred Hitchcock movie.

I got to my phone to film them, just before they started settling down.

I got a bit annoyed cuz I missed filming them when they were squawking the loudest, and there was lots of background noise which made me unsure if the camera would pick up their squawks. But turns out their squawks came through louder than the background noise.

Pop quiz, What do you call a flock of crows?

A "homicide" of crows? No, wait... A "manslaughter" of crows? A "whacking" of crows? An "offing" of crows? A "smoting" of crows? A "slaying" of crows? A "hack and slice 'em up real good" of crows? A "neutralizing" of crows?
