Unfortunately, no matter how well you plan, not everything in life, conforms. What should have been plenty, and a decent amount left behind, is worth as much. The government keeps printing dollars, making what you saved, worth less. You can plan on somebody wanting to take what you saved, but you can't know what will be left.

I'm guessing you planned for your retirement, but you still take advantage of every dollar the government has to offer, even if you don't need it. That's just more money, you can leave for your kids...

They can't. Every dollar printed actually does increase the number of dollars, and devalues current dollars. There WILL be a HUGE problem in the near future.

Sure, let someone else deal with it...like our children and grandchildren. Here's a thought...stop deficit spending. If you can't pay for it, don't buy it. That's how I run my household. It actually works well.

Nothing is solved by printing money now. It only creates a much worse problem in the future. Wish we had enough politicians with balls enough to say "no", but saying "no" to everything doesn't get you elected.

I heard a good joke about retirement (not about me).
This retired military guy took a job as a walmart greeter. Everyone liked him and he did a good job. The only thing was, he always showed up 15 or 20 minutes late for work. Still, they didn't fire him because he did a good job for walmart. One day someone asked him, "What did they say to you when you showed up for work late every day in the military?" He answered, "They would say, good morning general, can i get you a cup of coffee?"

Sadly low interest rates on home loans might not help the working class. Housing prices went up so no money was saved by your average worker. Just Republicans get richer while exporting American manufacturing jobs.

Not a fact. You keep an economy alive with growth, which has been effectively shut down for 1 year BY DEMOCRATS using the excuse of covid. It has all been purposefully destroyed to insure Trump's greatest economy in history was a distant memory at election time.

With Trump out of the way, covid "miracles" can now happen. CNN was reporting just a day after inauguration that covid cases were magically going down in 47 states. They NEVER reported that with Trump in office. CNN also reports that "there was no covid vaccination plan in place". "Biden will have to start from scratch". Never mind that under Trump there was nearly a million vaccinations a day.

It is all a smoke show distraction from Biden is really up to. "What is he up to?" you ask.

Here's one...
Executive order...I don't know what number... He killed the Keystone Pipeline, also killing around 12,000 jobs with gross wages of around 1.5 billion dollars. Those are real families, losing real money, and now really suffering.

Now, should we print the 1.5 billion and just hand it out? After all, they can print up to around 2 billion dollars without increasing the number of dollars.

Oh did I mention Warren Buffet owns Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad? NO WAY big democrat buffet could profit from this!? Who will transport the crude oil??

This sounds like a rant. Need a vibrator? I bet your panties are twisted in a bunch. If we go into a recession, you'll be rich just as you thrived during the Great Recession.
With the economy, you also need to consider how other countries have fared during the pandemic. Yet you don't seem to be aware that our economy is because of the American dollars that China owns.
They own about 1/2 of all foreign owned US dollars. That gives them, Senator McConnell and his wife Elaine Chao a lot of power over the US economy. This is why we have a trade deficit with China that hurts the US.

I did quite well during the Great Recession. I also did quite well in Trump's great economy. It's ALWAYS better when everyone has an opportunity to do well. Poor dudes working the pipeline just got fuked. Their opportunity just disappeared. Thanks Biden.

News flash James...I'm no fan of McConnell. I think he is poison to his party, and his ties to China make matters even worse. His departure from the senate in 2026 is not soon enough. He needs to go YESTERDAY.

If China sells the US Dollars that it is holding, the value of the US Dollar will fall.
It's simple math. Here is some for you. It's quite basic. And if the US economy falters under our new president as you predict, then when you're making money, this will help you to count it.
Hopefully you know what binomials and quadratic equations are and how to factor them. Just not as complex as our economy.

Printing fiat money is actually okay, so long as it is not printed faster than the creation of wealth (which only capitalism can do).

The problem is when a government (like ours) is printing it faster than wealth creation. That causes inflation. The dollar overall is worth less than it was before.

The SOA (what used to be the federal government) is huge. It cannot pay for it's own operations through taxation or by borrowing it. It must print huge sums of dollars just to pay to keep it going. It is broke. It is quickly running out of options. A cash crash is inevitable. It's only a matter of time, perhaps a fairly short time at that. People are already looking around for another currency.

Where do you get this stuff. We have all the American money as the Chinese used it to buy the Northern Territory.Sad for them as our prime minister took a hard stand and wished for answers about The Covid situation so diplomatic ties were broken and China banned Coal ,wine and seafood imports from Australia. We sold our coal to Russia for the same price and they kept it for themselves and sold their brown stuff to China for more.We were taught a big lesson on that one.The government susidised the wine industry and flooded the local markets with cheap good quality wine and rock lobster prices are a third. Most cray fisherman can turn to other fishing the next day so no harm no foul and China can F off.USA has always been big brother with a big military support to protect us should Asian nations wish to have a go and hope your new guy is still going to honour that or are we going back to sailing ships and swords

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Absolute hyperinflation disenthralls absolutely.

When the people need a $100 Trillion dollar bill to enable their carrying cash to fit in a backpack, the faith in the currency has already reached a certain low.

Your idea is to kill the economy dead in the name of saving the economy. It's a good thing you aren't a decision maker.

In Venezuela, where your "idea" has been implemented several times, typically after deprecating the previous currency, the resulting hyperinflation renders the currency worth less than art supplies ... so people make crafts out of the currency.

The current V50,000 note pictured below, introduced in 2018, is already worth less than three cents of $US.

The Biden economic plan, seems to be to print lots of dollars, to give away in social programs, and stimulus. To shut down businesses, to win the fight over a cold virus. Reverse, or cancel everything Trump did, focusing on job creation, and deregulation. With no jobs, and no business, people will have to spend their stimulus checks, online, buying cheap crap from China. When China figures out Joe is writing them bad checks, they'll raise their prices, to adjust for their loses. So Americas will pay more, for the same cheap crap. They'll also impose tariffs, and charge competitive shipping rates, since America isn't manufacturing much crap. Since China is doing it, everybody else will follow.
