I was watching "man on the street" interviews of Russians and of Americans. It was interesting. There was hesitancy in both countries to speak their mind in some cases. In russia there was hesitancy to speak against the govt. In america there was hesitancy to speak against the other party, whichever that might have been. In russia this created much less anxiety than the same situation caused in america. I was surprised how much of a reaction this caused in americans. The russians were hesitant but not so anxious about it. Citizens of both countries tended to say they didn't have animosity against any country. Noone said they had animosity against any govt.
