Speaker Johnson can only delay it for so long. Eventually they HAVE to reconvene and swear in the newest member. This would be enough for the discharge petition to have 218 votes. This would require release of Epstein files.

"Moses" Johnson may still have another way. If he can keep ALL the Republican representatives from defecting, and WIN BACK just one of the Republicans who signed the discharge petition. They can still rescind their signature. Or any Democrat could change sides. That would nullify the newest congress member.

So the Epstein Files Transparency Act being pushed in congress may make it to senate, but it seems unlikely it will pass the senate anytime soon.
