I guess, with the massive crop failures and a global population that bloated in the warmth of the current little interglacial, millions if not billions will starve when the next little ice age happens. So how much fossil fuel would people have to burn to survive another little ice age when global temperature plummets 1 C as depicted like so?

Estimates range from 300,000 to 200,000 years that Man has been upon the Earth. Whether he has the ability to survive the half million years to the next Ice Age is somewhat questionable. Most civilizations do not last much more than a couple of thousand years and that would cause failures in the systems all over the Earth and large scale disease and starvation.

Closely observed the attacks by radicals on Trump and the occurrences in Russia and China could be trigger points though that is unlikely. But with a government willing to take everything you've got you'd better be ready for anything that might occur.

No fossil fuels need be burned. Fossils don't burn.

A 1 deg C drop in temperature is insignificant. Seasonal changes range over 30 deg C all the time. We're all still here.

Random numbers, Wake.

What do you care? You'll be dead.

Know any that lasted that long, Wake? What has this got to do with ice ages?

Why would the failure of a civilization cause systems elsewhere to fail, Wake? Did you know there is already large scale disease and starvation?

Triggers for what, Wake? Void argument fallacy.

Do you really think the government is going to take everything you've got, Wake? You must live a very paranoid life.
