... in a similar vein to the "gas prices are decreasing!!! YAYYYYY!!!!!" gaslighting, we now get this doozy of a headline from none other than Yahoo News. It reads, and I quote: "Mortgage rates drop by largest amount in 41 years" Yes, you read that headline correctly.... and yes, just like $4 is still higher than $2, 6.6% is still higher than 3%. |

I guess Yahoo forgot about the 18% mortgage rates in 1981 dropping to 2.8% in 2021. Since then, of course, mortgage rates have risen to about 6.7%. Apparently Democrats never learned about the direction of value comparisons. Must be that so-called 'math' in 2nd grade that Swan likes to go on about. Just remember, 2+2=5, or you're a racist.
