Well then I guess hurricane severity compiled over time and assessed is also a good indicator of global warming

It is not possible to measure the temperature of the Earth.
Hurricanes are local storms, not the entire Earth.
Hurricane frequency and intensity is random, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Hurricanes are powered by unstable air, not CO2.

'Expert' worship.

Yes it is. It is not, however, possible to measure the temperature of the Earth, the global sea level, the atmospheric content of CO2 of Earth, the total ice and snow on Earth, the pH of the ocean, the emissivity of Earth, or the total precipitation of Earth.

Nope. I don't know these values. Neither do you.

Hurricane season is usually about June to November in the Atlantic I hear.

Weather seems pretty chaotic. The general trends are usually easy to predict, but trying to predict which way the wind will blow, nobody seems to be able to do beyond about 3 to 10 days.

Weather is always chaotic. Big hairy deal.

You ignore the indications at your own risk.

What 'indications'?? Pascal's Wager fallacy.

The indications of global warming, genius.

There are three forms of heat. They are conduction, convection and radiation. Wind is not heat.

No.

Wind transfers hot air.

Wind is not heat.

How else do you explain the Indian summers in the Bay Area?

Indians.

Though the term may not be politically correct,

What is politically incorrect about indians?
Spongy Iris wrote:
an Indian summer refers to abnormally high temperatures, occurring in late summer or early fall season.

If it happens every year, why is it 'abnormal'? What has this to do with indians?

Typically, in the Bay Area, temperatures will reach about 100 F in September, and even early October this year.

So?
Spongy Iris wrote:
The way I see it, these temperatures are reached when the wind is coming from the north, and is land based wind.

Santa Ana winds are from the east, not the north.
Spongy Iris wrote:
If the wind is coming from further west, and is sea based wind, the Bay Area will not heat up so intensely

Probably has something to do with air blowing over that cold current off your coast.

The Santa Ana winds tend to come from the north east, when considering the bigger picture, over all of CA.

But looking closely at a wind map just around the Bay Area, they often look to be coming directly from the north.

There you go, you referenced the NHC, to say hurricane intensity has increased.

Presumably they have compiled the data over at least 100 years, and notice intensity has increased since about 100 years ago, yes?

Bitches couldn't vote. Bitches couldn't run for office. Bitches weren't even allowed in the room when all the decisions were made.

Bitches weren't allowed to own property in their own name.

Bitches couldn't even get a PAYCHECK in their own name.

Bitches weren't allowed to have their own bank accounts.

Bitches weren't allowed into any of those schools.

Bitches weren't allowed to do any of those jobs.

Then the bitches got tricked into helping the freed black slave male get a vote.

HA HA HA HA HA!

YOU STUPID BITCHES!

You would have to wait more than 50 more years before YOU would ever get to vote!

And now you don't even get to control your own body.

ANOTHER BLAST FROM THE PAST, BITCHES!

We're making America great again!

I have no idea what Mantra 30a is, but I have never met a commenter with more mantras than you.

Here let's settle the matter with another solid indication of global warming, hurricane intensity since 1980.

No doubt about it, hurricanes in the Atlantic have gotten more intense since then, and hurricanes in the Pacific have not gotten as less intense, as hurricanes in the Atlantic have gotten more intense.

That is a reasonable sampling of global weather.

Yes! Let us praise the good "work that you and I have done to reduce the absurd commentary about 'climate change'"

In nine years, IBdaMann and Into the Night have racked up 37,360 posts between the two of them. More than a third of all posts, total, among all 1714 members.

How were they able to achieve such success in their mission to "reduce absurd commentary about 'climate change'"?

By driving almost everyone else away.

Why would any rational adult attempt to have a rational discussion about climate change with these ugly trolls?

They wouldn't. Not anymore. Not after all the work that has been done to reduce absurd commentary about climate change.

Absurd commentary by scientifically illiterate morons who preach the WACKY religion of climate science. It has been very much reduced over the course of nine years of relentless trolling.

Nah. The Church of Global Warming just doesn't have the traction it used to in the United States.

There's also the distraction of the election right now.

When a hurricane hits, or when a large snowstorm hits, people come out of the woodwork to discuss how it's all 'climate change'.
