I use the word freak with the utmost admiration. And recently, I have only heard innuendo he is testing the fountain of youth again, and may not have been practicing long enough to be about 30 again, which may take him 5 years I conservatively estimate. Never-the-less, I think this makes for an interesting conversation. If Tyson went 5 years without an orgasm, between the age of 13 to 18, he became the age of a man with the youth of a child. That added years to his life. Certainly Jake Paul not wearing head gear could easily be killed by a biologically 20 year Mike Tyson.

But I am very very certain he had a biological advantage over his opponents in his early career. Do you want to shame Tyson, albeit decades later, for boxing opponents who were biologically disadvantaged against him? His decrepit opponents never stood a chance against a man child.

His knock out videos show dominance far greater in proportion than Khelif and Yu Ting over their opponents. He was simply faster and stronger than his opposition by leaps and bounds. His opponents are lucky they weren't killed.

That's all fine and dandy, but I've got a pretty narrow focus concerning this event, and the history leading into it. Tyson's boxing career has thus far seemed to rival the biblical story of Samson. When asked in an interview if he didn't have sex for 5 years, Tyson replied, I'm an idiot, I went by what people told me, I was a 12 year old looking for glory. Believing Tyson's response, I decided to round up to the next year, and figure Tyson didn't suffer "The Little Death" from the ages 13 to 18, holding fast to the old boxing adage, "Women. Weaken. Fans were shocked at his decline, but the answer for why seems quite obvious. When asked about celibacy for the upcoming fight, Tyson gave conflicting responses, I haven't had sex for 2 weeks. In another interview it was 6 weeks. These small intervals do not sound like large enough time lengths to reverse aging. If Tyson dominates this fight, I think it would show he has found the fountain of youth, which he really should know, IMO, given his experience. Any bookie, seeing a retired 58 year old pro boxer, against a similar weight 27 year old pro boxer, would never give greater odds to the 58 year old. Only a crazy risk manager betting on a fountain of youth would pick Tyson as the winner.
