Mentioning Carbon-Tax incites protests, rioting, and looting. Doubtful any direct carbon taxing will be implemented. Climatology and the CO2 war is only 'cool', when other people have to pay for it. The other people, would be the companies and industries target as major CO2 producers, which will raise their prices, to cover the addition costs, plus add on some more, for research and developing fixes and alternatives. Many will accept the high costs, because the villains are paying for their sins, not realizing they are being robbed, and actually just making already rich people, richer. Eventually, people will catch on to the scam of Climatology, and it will fade out, when an new religion becomes popular, and people get tired of being poor. People aren't looking past their own lifetimes as much as they once did. |
