On the controversial issue of climate change there are various positions that we all know: alarmist, alarmed, moderate believers, skeptics, dimensioners (my particular case), and radical denialists.

My fortunate presence in this forum has made me know a position I never imagined, that of IBdaMann and Into the Night.

I would call them 'destructionists', a form of iconoclasty of the religion of climate change.

I must confess that I like this position, and I am about to assume it.

I have fun every time a naive comes to this forum with light arguments, and the way these destructionists placate them.

There are three kinds of climate change: that generated by natural factors; that generated by man; and that generated by economic interests.

Beware...that way lies madness. You will find yourself arguing with your other half over the thermostat settings screaming; "THE HOUSE TEMPERATURE CANNOT BE MEASURED, THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH THERMOMETERS!!!".

Planck's law describes the spectral density of electromagnetic radiation emitted by a black body in thermal equilibrium at a given temperature T.

The temperature of a house cannot be measured. You don't have enough thermometers. There are many different temperature in any house (or apartment!) that are different from a thermostat reading on the wall. That changes if any windows are open or not, or if drapes are pulled shut or not, or whether certain doors are open or shut.

However, thermostats are nevertheless useful. They set your heating system to keep most of those temperatures in a comfortable range. Forced air systems are balanced for different pressures in different rooms for most common cases of doors, windows, or drapes. Further, you can do some balancing yourself using the heating registers.

That way you won't roast in a small bathroom while the living room is cold.

I'm not really sure taking things to the extreme right off, is the best course. The 'believers' have several levels as well. We do, on occasion, get a few on the F.B.R. level, but many still have a chance to be save from their wicked ways. Climate Change doesn't make any rational sense, so many travel the web, hoping to find some rational answers. The IPCC, and other F.B.R. sites on add to the confusion, creating more questions, than answers, sucking new victims, into their evil flock. Democrats are particularly weak to this vile disease, as they have a natural need to believe BS, and a willingness to regurgitate whatever foulness they are told. They tend to scare easy, and likely to retreat into the false safety of the doomsday cult. I don't believe intimidation is the best path here, we should encourage the new members to think rationally, and for themselves, in a less threatening manner. The cult, already uses fear and intimidation to get normally rational people to turn, before we all burn...

There is no 'left' or 'right' in science. Science, logic, and mathematics does not use fear or intimidation. They do, however, expose the fear and intimidation used by the Church of Global Warming and the Church of Green.

It the same fear and intimidation used by all socialists. It is used by the Church of Karl Marx.

When someone searches the web looking in places like the IPCC or other site supporting the Church of Global Warming, they are already believers, simply looking for ways to justify their belief. They are not 'on the fence' as you might think.

One who is 'on the fence' already mistrusts all this noise, fear, and intimidation from the Church of Global Warming they are hearing.

I think this is why we have the Boltzmann's ideal gas law and Avagrado's number. Then if we divide the volume of the room by 22.4 liters and then apply KE = 3/2kT/n we can consider the upper and lower limits of a molecules velocity.
When we know those 2 limits then we can know the average amount of electromagnetic radiation (background radiation) is in a room per molecule.
Of course where KE = 1/2mv^2, it's velocity might have a relationship with its mass and the amount of background radiation. I mean which goes faster with a 427? GasGuzzler's truck or a Shelby Cobra? And if they were gas molecules then GasGuzzler being in a collision with his truck would be driving away accelerating quickly in his new Shelby Cobra.
Of course this also suggests the Earth's position around the Sun (its orbit) might be the main reason for climate change. Yet for some reason climate change scientists are stuck on the absorption/emission spectrum of CO2.

Bovine fecal matter has often been blamed for 'global warming', along with bovine farts, both of which give off methane gas, one of the so-called 'magick' gases that somehow create energy out of nothing.

Autism has little to do with anything literal. Indeed, such usually have difficulty reading or writing well at all. The condition often results in poor social interactions at all, as well as poor reading or writing ability. Under severe cases, rhythmic repetitive body actions (such as rocking, etc.) is seen. Autism has nothing to do with the Church of Global Warming or any other religion.

It is quite possible to take a long walk of a short pier...if the water is frozen sufficiently!

This DOES have something to do with so-called 'global warming', according to the faithful, who say there will be fewer piers where water freezes sufficiently to do this.
