I have just removed 100-200 of the most spammy posts from the last month. Also, it has been necessary to ban litesong from the forum.

I am not going into a discussion about this. litesong has been warned before, and this was necessary now. I simply don't want to waste too much time cleaning up/removing duplicate posts.

I see there are many insults by other users, unfortunately, and if I had the time, I would go through and clean everything up, and probably ban some more users. I don't have the time at the moment, but still want to keep Climate-Debate.com alive.

Please refrain from endless insults and duplicate spammy posts. If seen in the same amount by other users, they will of course be banned as well.

I hope everyone will start contributing in a more adult way, thereby attracting new users to engage in the debates.

Guess that takes care of that.

Sorry you had to take such action, Branner. It's never fun to have to ban a user. I think in this case the rest of the forum community appreciates it. Thank you.

See?

This website really DOES have a moderator!

As far as attracting new users to engage in the debates, they continue to join and give up.

Since I first posted about two years ago, 128 new members joined.

If Marc comes back on Saturday, that will be ONE of the 128 who didn't give up.

If the three members who joined yesterday aren't all the same person, they might not give up on the website either.

Branner, I understand that you don't have time at the moment.

I guess the website will just have to keep moderating itself for a while longer.

There are days when up to five members participate.

Maybe that is proof that there is no NEED for a moderator.

The handful of active members, veterans with 7-10 years of active participation and many thousands of posts, seem to be creating a discussion that is so attractive, 128 members joined after I did.

NOT! They were fooled into joining by what the website pretends to be.

They join and then discover what the website really is.

Branner, I know you will never read this or any other post.

I would still love to know how many members the site had when IBdaMann first joined nine years ago.

Then I would know how many hundreds of new members joined after that and gave up, while he remains to troll, spam, and dox with impunity.
