Earthling - Yes, that kind of transformation, to be completed, will likely take many decades, or perhaps a century or more. If done too rapidly, though, we could have a serious shortfall in energy resource liquidity. Evidently there is a balance to be drawn between getting it done A.S.A.P. and getting it done right.
