Let's say they lobby government to spend quadrillions of USD building hundreds of thousands of air CO2 capture factories and hundreds of thousands of offshore wind farms to power them, and put CO2 under ground so CO2 is 100 ppm in air. No vegetation would grow on land except in industrial greenhouses where they use CO2 concentration thousands of PPM to grow food. This make the rest of society depend on them for food production. Profit?

Exactly who do you believe would fund this?

Who else other than taxpayers can pocket quadrillions of USD?

This can only occur if the Congress approves such an expenditure. With a conservative government with a proper outlook to science rather than the silliness that would never happen.

Unfortunately, ours isn't so conservative anymore, and looking like acting silly is the thing these days. Only hope, is that Trump has just been giving the Green Party plenty of rope to play with, so they show their cards. Then gets down to business, and cleans up the mess, we call government these days. They are obviously a little concerned, and their priority is still investigations into Trump, trying to find some nugget that will take him out. If the Clintons couldn't find anything, Mueller could find anything, there probably isn't anything there.

There is nothing there concerning Trump and never was. Mueller should presently be in custody and awaiting trial with no bond possible.

The Greenies are dying on the hoof. The only reason that the rest of the world was supporting this climate change crap is because it only affected the US giving them an economic advantage. What they forgot was that the USA made these changes so rapidly that they gained little advantage and now their economies cannot move rapid enough to make the changes that they have to make because of pollution and smog.

So we are seeing many countries dropping out of the UN climate deals. This means that the UN and its dreams of world domination are disappearing faster than the politicians there can stand it. I suppose we can expect even more dire threats from the IPCC as more and more world wide scientists are proclaiming it poppycock.
