STOP SPAMMING

They are not "my" buzzwords. You can look them up the same way I do.

Potentially, you could learn how to use them and be more than just a scientifically illiterate naysayer troll who whines about "buzzwords", and can't think of anything more clever to assert than "is not".

Actually, I am the widely-cited, PhD biogeochemist who prefers to discuss applied biogeochemistry to address climate change and ocean acidification.

You are the scientifically illiterate troll who refuses to believe that biogeochemistry even exists, yet claims to be a "chemist".

There is no such thing as 'biogeochemistry'. You can't acidify an alkaline.

You STILL haven't described what is 'changing' in climate.

Here is where that "no such thing" stuff actually rings true.

There is NO SUCH THING as "an alkaline". "Alkaline" is an adjective describing one chemical property of any substance with pH greater than 7.0

"An alkaline" would be an undefined noun, not recognized in chemistry.

Ask Google, "What is the definition of 'an alkaline' in chemistry?"

Google notices the obvious mistake in the question and answers with the correction:

"An alkali is a water-soluble base, usually a hydroxide of an alkali metal or alkaline metal, that forms a solution with pH greater than 7."

Google corrected the term to "alkali" because THAT is the NOUN used for it. The term "alkaline" also appears, but as "alkaline metals". Alkaline metals are the column in the Periodic Table that includes calcium and magnesium, and they all form divalent (2+ charge) cations in salts or bases.

Although there is NO SUCH THING as "an alkaline", there most certainly IS such a thing as "biogeochemisty".

Google just the single word "biogeochemistry" and the definition shows up on the upper left. Going down the list, it shows plenty of credible references that all spell out essentially an identical definition for the accepted term in science.

NO PLACE does Google suggest that there might not actually be such a thing.

BIOGEOCHEMISTRY is also the name of the prestigious scientific journal where one of my most famous papers got published.

Since we are "debunking" biogeochemistry in this thread, let's just tear the heart out of it.

"There is no such thing as 'biogeochemistry'." - Into the Night

Google is not God or sentient, but it has access to ACCURATE chemistry information.

Google inquiry: "Is there such as thing as 'biogeochemistry'?"

Google's reply leaves no room for doubt.

"Yes, biogeochemistry is a recognized, crucial scientific discipline. It studies the physical, chemical, biological, and geological processes governing the natural environment, specifically how living organisms and Earth's systems (atmosphere, hydrosphere, and lithosphere) interact to cycle elements like carbon and nitrogen. It explains how biology affects geochemistry and visa versa."

Google is correct and Into the Night is, at best, very stubborn.

There IS such a thing as "biogeochemistry" and it would be highly relevant in an actual discussion of the science of climate change. If such a discussion ever got out of the starting gate. But wait, I heard somewhere that CLIMATE CANNOT CHANGE, so I guess there is nothing else to say about it.

"You still haven't answered my question"

For example, you refuse to say WHY you insist that it is not possible for pH to be below zero. I have asked you many times. I show you the math for how a particular acid solution has pH below 0, and you show no alternative other than to say "math error". I show you the formula for pH = -log(H+), and you insist it is wrong, but offer no alternative formula other than vague reference to a "ratio".

But the question that you evade most annoyingly is WHY do you think you are a "chemist"? What qualification or training or ANYTHING do you have that anyone besides yourself recognizes as giving you this professional title?

ANOTHER question you keep dodging is about scientific journals. You reject the world's most prestigious scientific magazine as a "shit rag", yet you REFUSE to offer the name of even ONE scientific publication that you respect as credible.

I guess if you just make shit up on demand, there is no need to ever read any scientific publications. No need to even know what they are.

But you are the last of the ugly cult still trying to block any discussion here.

IBdaMann, what did you mean by "biogeochemical feedbacks" in your post earlier today?

As you have so informatively "debunked" biogeochemistry in the tome below, it begs the question of what a "biogeochemical feedback" could possibly be.

Please DEFINE YOUR TERMS!

What did you intend for it to mean when you wrote "biogeochemical feedbacks"?

IBdaMann wrote:
I have added Biogeochemistry and QAnon to the Debunking Signature. If you are already registered for the Debunking Signature at Politiplex, you will be receiving these at no additional charge.

Biogeochemistry is a religious movement based on a personality, i.e. the failed Russian chemist Vladimir Vernadsky, whose last-ditch effort for recognition spawned a bizarre metaphysical earth movement. As with most religious movements, the worshipers point to Vernadsky's having been a chemist as legitimizing the religion as science. Since Vernadsky focused on crystals and minerals, the movement's followers invented the term "geochemistry" as the branch of science under which they claim their faith should be categorized. Fast forward to modern-day, the movement felt it necessary to add the "bio" prefix, i.e. "biogeochemistry", in order to better poach members from other Church of Green, Church of Global Warming and Church of Climate Change denominations, as well as to more effectively convert fellow Marxists who might be sitting on the fence before they get snapped up by some other church.

Vladimir Vernadsky made no contributions to science, which is why you have never studied any of his work. Vernadsky tried his hand at producing some falsifiable models, but they were quickly falsified by more proficient and more knowledgeable scientists. However, as is the case in the world of academics, Vernadsky's "research" was nonetheless sufficient to earn him several academic positions that did not require any sort of accomplishments. He was appointed head of the Museum of Mineralogy and Geology in St. Petersburg and later he was made the head of the University of Simferopol in Kiev. Good for him.

Ergo, the Biogeochemistry faith (capitalized because it is the name of a religion) is not based on any science. It is based on the metaphysics of the Noosphere (capitalized because it is the name of the sacred deity). In this faith, the Noosphere is the deity and the global climate is just one of its appendages, i.e. a thing.

The Noosphere is the planetary sphere of the mind, or the thinking layer of planet Earth. To grasp the idea of the Noosphere we must elevate our consciousness and open ourselves to the most general, elemental and cosmic principles of life on Earth.[Book Cover]

As the mental sheathe of the planet, the Noosphere characterizes mind and consciousness as a unitary phenomenon. This means that the quality and nature of our individual and collective thoughts directly affects the Noosphere and creates the quality of our environment—the biosphere.

As the Earth's "mental sheathe," the Noosphere represents the breakthrough to a new consciousness, a new time and a new reality arising from the biospheric crisis. This is known as the Biosphere-Noosphere evolution.

Just as the biosphere is the unity of all of life and its support system, the Noosphere is the unity of all mind and its thinking layers. In this way the Noosphere can be understood as the sum of the mental interactions of all life. Within the Noosphere exists the evolutionary control panels, known as the psi bank, the storage and retrieval system for all the mental programs.

As the next stage of evolution of the terrestrial biosphere, the Noosphere signifies the advent of a qualitative/dimensional shift - the passage from one state to another. This is the main investigative topic of the Noosphere II project.

This perspective of the Noosphere, as an evolutionary event, has been scientifically anticipated by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, the noted French paleontologist, as well as his colleague (with whom he jointly coined the word noosphere in 1926), Russian geochemist, Vladimir Vernadsky (see The Theory and History of the Noosphere).

"The historic process is changing dramatically before our eyes ... Mankind taken as a whole is becoming a powerful geological force. Humanity's mind and work face the problem of reconstructing the biosphere in the interests of freely thinking mankind as a single entity. This new state of the world we are approaching without noticing it is the 'Noosphere.'"
- V.I. Vernadsky

I do not have the intellectual curiosity to follow IBdaMann's advice and read the Manifesto of the Noosphere. There is enough information in the description in the post to convince me it won't advance my knowledge of biogeochemistry.

As IBdaMann pointed out yesterday, "biogeochemical feedbacks" are what I am known for my expertise in.

Paradox... IBdaMann, what did YOU think you were saying with the term "biogeochemical feedbacks"?

There is no such thing as 'biogeochemistry'. Contextomy fallacy. Stop spamming.

As you have so informatively "debunked" biogeochemistry in the tome below, it begs the question of what a "biogeochemical feedback" could possibly be.

Please DEFINE YOUR TERMS!

What did you intend for it to mean when you wrote "biogeochemical feedbacks"?

- V.I. Vernadsky

If you'd like to learn more, I recommend you read the Manifesto for the Noosphere: The Next Stage in the Evolution of Human Consciousness by José Argüelles, available on Amazon for only $14.95, or available to read free of charge HERE on Politiplex.

I recommend everyone read the Manifesto of the Noosphere because it is short, it should only take someone about five minutes to read, and duncan should only need about twelve minutes.

You won't read it because it exposes the religious nut that you are. There is no such thing as 'biogeochemistry' in science.
