I have just come across a topic that some how the bushfires in Australia have something to do with CC.The truth is we used to do burn off clearing in spring there is only a 6-8 week window to do it between it being too wet from winter and to hot in summer.I have taken part in this activity myself and 25 volunteers from the local bushfire brigade with a senior full time fire chief and 2 full time fireman do a controlled burn over a weekend. We light fires facing in to the wind and we had 5 groups working one has a rake the others a shovel and a water backpack and the exercise is controlled by the firechief. If it even looks like getting out of control it is put out and restarted. No wildlife is harmedas everything has time to get away.Lately do gooders have been preventing the burn offs and look what happened.Billions of dead animals and there has not been a peep from the nobs that stopped the fire hazard reduction.

Religions motivate people to construct their dogmas in this manner.

It's like Billy Graham's 1993 assertion that AIDS is a judgement handed down by God against homosexuals (which he later retracted). Whatever your dogma, it's what you will preach.

Most places in the world that have traditionally done exactly this for exactly the reasons you cited ... continue to do so ... for precisely those reasons. Leftist-run places like California, however, prohibit the controlled burning of fuel so that there will be fires that they can blame on Climate Change. It's funny how that works.

If there are ever any deaths resulting from any of the preventable forest fires, well that's a sacrifice they are willing to make for the greater good of proclaiming the message of Climate Change. If valuable resources are consumed/spent in combatting preventable forest fires then that's a small price to pay to raise awareness of Climate Change. It all makes perfect sense.

We just had 3 controlled burns this past week, locally. We sort have to do it, or nature will. We are the lightning capital of the world.

Something that didn't catch much traction, but the arrest almost 200 people for arson, in relation to the Austrian wildfires. Most, didn't intend to set off the wildfires, they just did careless things, like burning trash piles, open campfires, and stuff that aren't allowed during the dry season. There were 7 people charge in the California fires, but that was early on, may have been more. I got tired of reading about blackouts, and how it still didn't have any effect, it fire still started.
