So how sexy is that?

There will be no quantum computing debut. Sure, we'll get a press release claiming that it happened, and that it was awesome, and that qubits computed a billion libraries of Congress in under a microsecond, with interviews from "scientists close to the project" who will discuss where they plan to go from here, ... except that there is nothing anyone can do to actually attend this historical event and scrutinize any part of it ... because there will be no such event. Only a fabricated press release.
