Furthermore, if you try to cut the generation of power off to the world they will simply kill you. It is that plain. There is no practical way to control the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere except to limit population. Reaching a balance in the production of CO2 would allow the oceans to get enough plankton growth to balance or even reduce the atmospheric levels. Let's remember that the original atmosphere contained about 40% CO2 and that was brought down to the insignificant levels of what it presently is from plant growth. So plainly the oceans are entirely capable of handling large levels of atmospheric CO2. So we should no play along with this claim that CO2 is a polutant because it is not. It is and was the building block of oxygen.
