Did you think a bunch of climate 'scientists' and government paid hacks were going to go down without a fight?

No. Religion should not be taught in public schools.

Between 1940 and the early 1970's we had significant cooling. Though no one speaks of it now this was the time Al Gore was touring the country telling everyone that the use of fossil fuels was causing a new ice age.

A Stanford Professor, Dr. Paul Erlich, wrote a book called "The Population Bomb". At this time the world population was around 3 trillion people. He claimed that we didn't have enough energy to support the world's population and that we were all going to freeze to death and starve because the new ice age wouldn't allow us to grow enough food. That there would be riots and mass migrations away from the higher latitudes.

He and Dr. John Holdren were suggesting that we poison the water in Africa so that we could use that equatorial continent to support Americans. He wasn't alone since this was also being discussed in China up until quite recently. When the American population continued to grow they ACTUALLY suggested putting chemicals into the American water supplies that would sterilize people.

The world now has more than twice that population and there has never been less starvation in the world. Unless they are fairly isolated food supplies get everywhere and it is only political situations that cause most of the world's present hunger.

To give you some idea of why Obama was so extremely stupid about climate change - his chief science advisor was Dr. John Holdren.

Obama knew it was a powerful tool, and a way to profit. He really didn't need to know the details, only that there was the potential for a lot of money, just waiting to disappear, and no one would bother looking for it. Probably never know how many billions the IPCC burns through, since most of it goes toward video games...

It is not possible to measure the temperature of the Earth, Wake.

That he was. This despite that fossils don't burn. Well, we all knew Al Gore was stupid.

No, Wake. Around 3 billion, not trillion. The current population of Earth is around 7.6 billion.

Yup. He did argue that, too.

Yup. Remember that one too.

Don't think China ever discussed it, Wake. Why would China be concerned about the welfare of Americans?

China DID argue that.

Currently about 7.5 billion.

Generally true, but transportation issues are also a big factor.

It's amazing how tight these little circles are, isn't it? You get a few people that shout very loudly in the press and suddenly it's 'everyone says so'. With government pushing their agenda from these people through the government run schools (including universities), you get what you have today: mass hysteria.

Not just the IPCC, but into Al Gore's pocket, Obama's pocket, Hillary and Bill's pocket, etc.
