Can anyone on this board define the global Climate in such a way that science can apply to it (i.e. falsifiable) and such that it doesn't violate physics? I don't think i can [define it]. I just kind of get a feel for the phrase. - keepit A Spaghetti strainer with the faucet running, retains water- tmiddles Clouds don't trap heat. The Stefan-Boltzman equation doesn't come up with the correct temperature if greenhouse gases are not considered - Hank :*sigh* Not the "raw data" crap. - Leafsdude IB STILL hasn't explained what Planck's Law means. Climate is a subjective description of how we perceive our environment. Climate is used in a lot of things, not weather or science related either. It's just a cult thing, changing the meaning of common words, and using them to promote their religious beliefs. I guess psychology or sociology, could explain climate best, since it's about how we 'feel' about something, and why we describe it a certain way. Global climate? Not sure how to describe the way I feel about the world, mostly disappointed. |

Just like a socialist government, we became dependent on Climate for humanity's existence, and in return we the people granted Climate the magickal superpower to perform miracles, called "forcings," her favorites being "feedbacks" (thermal, climate, environmental, radiative, etc.) and extreme weather events (hurricanes, floods, droughts, etc.).
