A lot of the carbon that should have returned to air were not decomposed and became fossil and so mother nature created humans to burn fossil fuel and return the lost carbon back to air. C4 plants, which account for only 3% of all plant species, only evolved several million years ago during the Pliocene when CO2 fell to 415 ppm. By the time of the Eemian, CO2 fell to 280 ppm. Had humans not been created by nature to do nature's bidding, CO2 would have fallen below 150 ppm in 2 million years and Earth would become a dead planet, just like all the other planets of the solar system. The distinguished Patrick Moore makes a very good explanation of all this.

Does Nature have a will?

I know that "Climate" has a will, according to the Global Warming religion. Warmizombies claim that "Climate" has the will to punish humanity for its sin of capitalism by unleashing extreme weather events, pestilence, war and other "climate forcings" that will raise the ocean to swallow coastal cities. Climate Lemmings, on the other hand, claim that "Climate" is a benevolent guardian angel that will save humanity from the overdue ice age.

But I have no idea what Nature's will would be. Perhaps it has something to do with just vanilla weather and an unchanging sea level. Nature is probably not exciting enough for the Global Warming thrill-seekers.

Nature is alive. Nature has a will. Only Earth has life. Only Earth has the exact right conditions for life. Life is nature's little experiment.

How can we communicate with Nature? How can we find out if Nature prefers Coke or Pepsi? Paper or plastic? Aisle or window? Business class or coach? When was the last time Nature visited New York city?

Nature has its own laws. The combustion law says hydrocarbons + oxygen = CO2 + H2O + energy. This is nature telling people to burn fossil fuels to release trapped carbon back to the air where it should be.

Is it a law, or is it a request?

That is a chemical reaction. All chemical reactions are laws of nature.

Not a chance. Nature created humans. Humans are powerless against nature.

Not a chance. Nature created humans. Humans are powerless against nature.

So the big question becomes: "How can certain humans break the laws of nature by choosing to not burn fossil fuels?"

Tai Hai Chen did the impossible - found a subject that The Mann and I agree on. Nature has no will or rhyme or reason. Nature doesn't "care" about us or anything. The laws of physics and nature just exist due to fundamental natural relationships (i.e. electro-magnetism, Einsteinian time and space, etc). We humans are but a dot.

Man compared to Earth is like an ant compared to a mountain. Man has no power to change nature.

Fossil fuels is by far the most abundant and cheapest and most efficient source of energy. Man will not stop burning fossil fuels any time soon.

Of course not. Because this is how nature always looked like, even before man:

There are always a few people who lie outside the norm.
